This has all been blown way out of proportion!
It has helped me, and has helped other posters aswell, I appreicate everyone's views about posting semi-nude pictures etc, its our own choice, were not posting for view pleasure from other people or for posters who think they are the leader of the WI and feel the need to answer for the majority of people.
If you don't like this thread stop posting, take your negativity somewhere else! I appreciate all the comments everyone, and I hope I had a positive impact on your self esteem

Uhh ok.. I've had self confidence problems for most of my life, and i didnt have any respect for my body at all. It damn isn't as easy as you say it is.

Over the last year I have only gotten to know the real me, which has helped me love myself, and my body. If I want to show it off, I damn will.

Its taken alot of will power and self-finding to get to where I am today. I used to be so unhappy with myself. But now I can show off my body. I only had the pic up for a few hours, then I took it down, so that only the people in the forum at that time would have seen it. I also deleted it from photobucket.

I'm proud of who I am. I'm careful on the net. I, we, don't need haters to tell us that we are being stupid.

SE I wasn't shamed into taking it down- I took it down that night, before all this kicked off. I wanted to take it down, I didn't want it up for too long. Why, thank you! I'm 32 years old, mama to an almost 13 year old daughter. And no, they weren't easy to take/post at first, but when I looked at the pics of me, I saw my body from a different point of view and I liked what I saw. This thread helped me accept my body as it is.

exactly..i was the 1st to post remember? and my body by far has the most reasons to not wanna be showing it (not that im overly criticle of myself its just fact, after serius injury and many surgeries ansd a burn or 2 got plenty of scars and an elbow so messed up it looks alien)
but theres alot to be said for having the confidence to put yourself out there regardless of how u look,
think about it when you dread your automaticly going to be setting yourself up for critisism, and attention both possitive and negative
dreading your heads as much baring your soul is as baring your body would be exposing yourseldf to critisism and stares
both set you free in pretty much the same ways
there has not been 1 single post that could be concidered slutty in any way, every one wa perfectly within the limmits of whats confortable while still being lil on the sexy side
and i think wevery one of us felt good about our contributions
