They don't affect it if you have an experienced piercer and the piercing does not damage the mammary gland ^^ Unless you have your balls (lol) screwed really tight, its best to take the bar out when breast feeding ^^

 

Because a nipple has many different holes in it from which the milk sprays out of, I would imagine that piercing would in fact cut the supply to many of various holes. (it is not a hose... it IS a sprinkler).

I would love to hear from someone who has had success breastfeeding after having a pierced nipple since I have not met one person who has.
