I've clearly been spending too much time on iracing. Coming home now I was actually searching for paddle shifters behind my steering wheel and I'm like man where's my gears and I thought I found them, ended up being the light stick and I was just flashing the guy in front of me trying to up shift... In an auto.
Im fucked up to Mel.. My PTSD is off the chains right now.. But instead of making myself better I'm watching world war II in color. Yes that's fine..
Totally got a headache, two days ago it was like 42C, last night fell asleep without the covers on and it got down to like 18C and I woke up shivering
Sorry you're dealing with that. But I had to chime in because I'm watching WW2 in black and white right now
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I used to watch World War II in Color on the Military Channel before they changed it to the American Heroes Channel
I have a weird obsession with military history. Anything warrior excites me. anyway, Iowa caucuses so screwed up that "experts" are now suggesting that the whole caucus format will be done away with
Bagel, you're one of the best newest additions to the forums. Seems like as good a time as any to mention that I think this.
Same. What's your favorite time period/battle? I've always been fascinated with medieval times and battles. Think it must have taken a different level of emotions to run into a wall of enemies knowing full well you might have your limbs cut off and all sorts of pain and then on the other side, another level of emotion to have to do that to somebody else. I also find especially medieval and ancient wars and battles to be somewhat romantic. Back then, girl, people cared about their country more, they were more passionate about who they were and they had an identity and sometimes hell, whole nation goes to war over a princess. or just cause some fancy pants stooge in France got a gripe... send the troops! And the unison and the horses and sheer will, 'cause sometimes an army outnumbered and don't have the technology like the other army gotta win it on sheer determination and willpower, the Saxon way. I find this motivating and spiritual, it's makes me feel good to think this, to know hell when I'm down, some folks that cared gave an arm and a leg.. maybe even a head for me to stand on this ground today. I don't take that with light heart oh nosireebob that means a lot to me. It's an admirable quality. It's very romantic.
For those that love spiders, mutant funnel web on the right. Normal size one on the left can kill you with its venom
Just did a 2:03.711 a full second quicker than yesterday, but it was in AM morning conditions at about 7am so nice cold track. I was still only 20th fastest out of 39 that session but that's means I'm quicker than 19 of them. Since it was an official session the fans were on the hill and I said to my team hey look there's Jocey waving on the hill.
