I went and picked up eight more birds on Saturday and the barn they came out of wasn't great so I have built a small enclosure in my sun porch to keep them quarantined until I fatten them all up they are just coming out of molting so they look really disturbing missing all those feathers we are healthy and have already started laying for me because they are so happy to be in a dry environment instead of the wet disgusting bar and I got the Moto I wish I could have taken all 50 15808547096545916195124029566544.jpg

Fuedal Japanese period of civil wars. It was the glory days of the samurai. There was no faking it. The sword and the bow ruled the land. Plus, at a time when most of the world saw women as little more than baby factories to cook and clean women fought as samurai. So all of that up to and including the Boshin War which was pretty much the end of the samurai. Dont know if you saw the movie The Last Samurai... stupid movie. It's just a place Tom Cruise to be Tom Cruise and play the white savior role, but the history is pretty accurate. That was the Boshin War.

I'm also interested in the Pacific and Asian theaters of WW2. It's interesting because most if these events had a spark a long time earlier and without the Boshin War and the Meiji Restoration and even Matthew Perry and America's gunboat diplomacy, you dont have the Pacific war and Imperial Japan. The lineage on how these military engagements are connected over decades is also very interesting to me.

Just wanna be clear. I get squeamish about things like Unit 731 and the Rape of Nanking and DO NOT condone their atrocities and feel guilty for finding entertainment value in this but I they and consume the history with enough respect to the Koreans, Chinese, and Fillipinos, etc who were absolutely brutalized by the Japanese during the war.

Also have read a bit about the internment of Japanese Americans here in the US and have recently learned that during WW2 Russia had female tank commanders. How bad ass is that??

Also the American Revolution a bit. Kinda badass that a bunch of farmers and stuff defeated the British Empire

So, half of WW2 and the feudal Japanese shogun era... think samurai and ninja :)

I like both. My friends think I'm weird. They're like that is the weirdest most morbid thing to have a fascination with. I dont disagree but I cant help it

I dont get the fascination about the Civil War but I'm with ya on WW2

I got sucked into the Super Bowl cheese popcorn commercial from CHEETOS® and bought a bag.

Dead honestly...... I can't tell one bit of difference from CHEETOS® cheese popcorn from another brand like Old Dutch or O-Ke-Doke Jay's.

What can I say I was victim of the hype.

Addison didn't give a shit what cheese popcorn it was. She just cares about lickin' fingaz....

Although heavily romanticised, Braveheart been a tremendous influence for me and akin to my romantic comment earlier.
