I don't always always but yeah often after I wash it I rub oil on it. Not like full seasoning or whatever. But also unless it's really dirty I more rinse it than really wash it.. So the oil from use is still.. There. Like the water just rinses off debris.

I never use soap.

I re season mine every few months too. I think the dishsoap eventually wears down your oils. Wipe it with oil after each use and then maybe 2 times a year slather the whole thing in oil and put it in the oven for an hour at 500 degrees

 

Butchering is a bit of an exaggeration, haha. Just thought I'd mention that my original typing was not a typo : )

I rmemeber once when some of my teenage online friends all traded MSN messenger passwords and got on each other's accounts. It was actually quite a bonding thing because of the trust. We'd known each other years.

 

And it was hilarious to confuse the friends not in on it.

 

I received this gift of a friend overseas who it turns out has an extreme sensitivity to candy haha

I haven't tried it yet but I will very soon and I am looking forward to it
