I enjoy the show but with the title in mind, I find it amusing when they get on a topic like dark matter or what spacetime is and they all have no explanation for the phenomena.

 

As they shouldn't really because dark matter is theory.

 

I believe someone won a nobel prize for it about a decade ago.

Maybe dark matter is God.

 

Only man be so stupid to dismiss God for being unseen then putting their faith behind dark matter which is also not seen.

The religion of science: basically believing things that you can't see, like God, for the same purpose as believing in God, to help an individual come to terms with what they cannot understand.

 

Unlike the validity of the Black Hole Image, it's not a hill I'm willing to die on. I kind of understand the idea in laymen terms but it does seem like it's quite speculative.

Neil Degrasse Tyson talked to a Christian talk show host and on their talk show they suggested the same thing. Degrasse Tyson said that could be falling for a God of the Gaps fallacy.
