I always think I want them and then they sit there unused until they're beyond use. But the curry thing has opened my eyes. I used to like them roasted but.. Nah. Not as good as a potato.
I can whip through my grocery store pretty quick. In n out 15 minutes I set my stopwatch and wear my ninja mask
I texted her She just texted me back. "Hi P! I'm doing well, though I miss physical connection so much. Doing a lot of yoga and playing piano. Hope you're well. "
Hey! I'm between Pendleton and Greenwood ha (I'll pm you.) This morning both the son and and a friend had texted me before 9:00am making sure I didn't have any downed trees. That was so sweet for them to wonder and care...but all I had on the ground were sticks and some greenery (not much) that was broken off...nothing I can't pick up. Seneca had a mess. One person at a plant (or similar) that was flattened up there was killed.
Oddly enough (or not lol) I had no idea last night there was this severe weather around here. I went outside a couple of times because it was so eerie. It was warm and windy with a little bit of rain, or rather it was just drizzle. The light was somehow "off". I kept returning out there to just experience it...you know? It was both exciting and pleasant in a different kind of way. lol
I sent my part time boss (20+ years) a flower arrangement to her house for Easter. She has the arrangement at work today because she said all the flowers are poisonous to her 4 cats. Oops. Forgot about them cats
Same here with the second half of a bunch of cherry tomatos. I actually like them but its too much in one packaging.
I don't want or mean to jump in here and answer for @YouFreeMe...but in my town we do indeed have that early first shopping hour reserved for seniors. However, all seniors (such as myself) are not able to make it to the store that first hour. Since I am a 24/7 caretaker (and insane person) I would have to get Crazy Pants up earlier than the bird that got the worm...then she would have to eat her breakfast and do whatever morning things she S L O W L Y makes her way though. It is just not feasible to get her up and ready to get in the car and sit that early. I haven't been to any store for over a week. This morning when looking at my stock, I accepted I was going to have to either figure how to order these many things online or plan a trip to the grocery store tomorrow. I got online with full intentions of ordering groceries and having them delivered since I've been told this is POSSIBLE!!! Well...to make that order with whatever mysterious place will deliver proved to be too difficult for my (pitiful) skill level. I will get suited up (with a mask and gloves) tomorrow. I have to go pick up Mama's babysitter, and bring her back down to the house. Its actually a great deal of trouble to go anywhere... I somehow managed to find the only person that would sit with Mama (that Mama also likes) does not have a working vehicle. (Her car is permanently on the blink, and she has no desire to get it fixed as she CAN ALWAYS FIND SOMEONE TO GIVE HER A RIDE OR GO GET HER ASS WHAT SHE WANTS. I will never understand how I've come to know so very many spoiled adults when I have never been spoiled - ever...and I really don't like being around spoiled people.
It's a service here, not an obligation (well it is for younger folks. But not for the old). I actually stood in line behind an old lady a few days ago too who really was too old to go at that point. She even forgot half of her groceries...!
Several people were eager to help but at the same time keeping the 1,5 meter distance safety measure in mind
Did you sleep through it? I was sleeping so good and then lightening hit what felt like right outside my bedroom window and woke me up then I noticed how the weather conditions were sort of terrifying lol, not sure I've ever heard wind like that before I know what you mean though, earlier in the evening the sky had this weird purple tint and there was that electricity thats always in the air before a good storm. I love that feeling
In a kind of kitchen battle, luv managed to get balsamic vinegar in my bellybutton. Now he's acting like I'M the weirdo for having vinegar in my bellybutton
I'd give that a go. Roasting things generally is the best option. I think I only tried it once.. Probably steamed.. It's slimy, if I'm remembering correctly.
tested for coronavirus. have results in 2days, but my dr said likely no, I said what about antibody tests and he said no, I said I was exposed to large gathering feb and march. he said virus not in the usa til march and that's when I said..
What no? He didn't had any? Or he didn't want to test you for antibodies? Antibody test is a blood test and more sparce in a lot of places atm.
I heard that antibody tests are available in Greenville. I think that may be close to Mel...do you know anything about this @Meliai?
Of course there is so much misinformation out there, its unreal. The social worker assigned to Mama has to call every morning (excluding weekends currently) and give the same coronavirus quiz... Have you been outside the United States in the last 14 days? Have you been in physical contact with anyone that has the coronavirus or is being investigated for having the coronavirus? (being investigated...wth?) Have you or anyone in your house had a temperature? Have you or anyone in your house been coughing or had shortness or breath, or any other breathing problem? Do you have an adequate supply of medication? Do you know how to contact us if anything changes? I asked him IF either my mother or I began having symptoms, would we be tested? ummmm - the answer Could we get tested if we wanted to be tested? ummmm - the answer Would we have to display symptoms for a period of time, quarantine ourselves, and then get scheduled for a test at some unknown future time? (quietly) I believe that is how it would work. WHAT? Is there no exact plan in the event a client became symptomatic? ummmm
