Rue is a nickname from my surname.
Oh yeah that's when I really realised I had to either not care about people knowing my real name, or I had to not share my book writing activities.

I still can't get my head around Mel not being your real name Mel. Hahaha.

 

I believe people call her J. Rue on the mean streets of Cornwall.

 

which reminds me. I spent way too long going through all my postcards and have waaaay too many nice postcards.
I felt like I kind of tricked you all into telling me your real names. I would have happily sent postcards to your screen names : P

Well I thought I'd wait a short while to make it more surprising. But yeah, now I'm just trying to choose what cards go to who. I buy postcards whenever I see cool ones and have few people to send them to so yeah.

Its Alexandra which translates to "defender of mankind" which is appropriately badass. My mom wanted to give me a Western name. I asked her why Alexandra and she said something about a Greek goddess but I don't think there ever was a goddess Alexandra

I have a character called Lan. Because I wanted to create a god vaguely related to Pan. And his name was, first, Dylan.
