Rue is a nickname from my surname. Oh yeah that's when I really realised I had to either not care about people knowing my real name, or I had to not share my book writing activities.
I want to know your name now, Bagel. But you don't have to tell me : ) I still can't get my head around Mel not being your real name Mel. Hahaha.
which reminds me. I spent way too long going through all my postcards and have waaaay too many nice postcards. I felt like I kind of tricked you all into telling me your real names. I would have happily sent postcards to your screen names : P
: ) ! Well I thought I'd wait a short while to make it more surprising. But yeah, now I'm just trying to choose what cards go to who. I buy postcards whenever I see cool ones and have few people to send them to so yeah.
IF ANYONE ELSE DIDN'T GET MY POSTCARD CALL. NOW IS YOUR LAST CHANCE. But please don't get too excited. I can't promise I have anything particularly spectacular to write on them.
Its Alexandra which translates to "defender of mankind" which is appropriately badass. My mom wanted to give me a Western name. I asked her why Alexandra and she said something about a Greek goddess but I don't think there ever was a goddess Alexandra My grandparents use the Japanese version of Arekisandora
I think they are beautiful names too. Thanks for sharing Bagel : ) Fae, when it's full.. is it ah-lan-ah or ah-lah-nah? I have a character called Lan. Because I wanted to create a god vaguely related to Pan. And his name was, first, Dylan.
okay now I am ashamed of my basil parenting. must do better with this one. The name was one of the titles or epithets given to the Greek goddess Hera and as such is usually taken to mean "one who comes to save warriors". that's from wiki
Haha I like to give that as my name here because it weeds out the ones who care enough to Google from the ones who can't be bothered It is now!
