With the superhuman as goal, I think we'll cover that quite well!

Is the superhuman a great peace? Burning desires! I know it is not a belief, let alone a system of such. I think it can be approached in many ways. Nobility must again come to government, --to be reached through democracy, but in democracy is the secret threat to nobility, the end endangered by the means.

It's a classically romantic case. Open and shut.

Excellant point Snakeyes, its that age old problem of women wanting to be like men:

Im kidding, but your point goes to the heart of everything:

Theist: He is God. See His creation.
Atheist: I am god. See my creation (first put on my tinfoil hat for brains).

 

most occultists like to believe in the supernatural because of the fear of death, accept yourself as you are.

 

That's like a command to stand still! Is this not me as I am?

Accepting oneself is a great part of overcoming oneself, but not all.

(Is it possible I am thought to be an occultist?! lol)

 

i believe there is a "superhuman", or God. different religions have different names for this higher power and different forms of worship, but there is only one God. and he or she loves and cares for everyone. i dont understand how anyone could think that there is no god. look around, nothing but some form of higher power could have created this beautiful place we call earth. nothing but a higher power could have created us inhabitants of this earth. believe what you will, but in my mind and in my heart there is someone who is looking out for us.

This beautiful and elegant universe that surrounds us operates on a level that at first sight the human brain cannot comprehend. If you look at it long enough You will come to understand that it's all running like a well oiled machine... Better yet, like a beautiful grandiose symphony of strings of cosmic proportions.

Now, to answer your question, individuals have come along that were "one" with this part of the universe that is un-seen by the naked eye, and have performed "super human" events that we as humans perceive to be "Acts of God" or "Miracles" only because we cannot explain it.

HA! HA!, EXAMPLE: Let me ask you a question... do you know how electricity works? I thought I did but I guess I don't... because with electricity you can cook a man's dinner, but you can also cook the man ... YIPE!!!??? Now how do you perceive electricity MIRACLE of modern science or deadly weapon?

So now I ask you my friend what do you define as "superhuman" ?

Cause if you mean bending time and space. This has been done. Last time I checked there was only one person who came in this world who was "at one" with the universe (others were given the temporary ability). These individuals could modify their environment at this level that is way beyond sub-atomic, and sure as S@!T beyond the naked eye.

 

Genesis 3 ... In my opinion that should be seen as a type of Binary code of God. Good=1 current passes, Evil=0 current stops. But in order to buy into that equation of philosophy you have to graduate from a begginer class which teaches the follwoing equation...

All that is "good" "pure" "holy" and all other perceptions of "God" = HAPPY.

All that is "bad" "evil" "unpure" and all other perceptions that are "Anti-God" = UNHAPPY.

and the two conclusions you make are black and white... the way i see it God's universe is VERY VERY GREY.

 

Yes it's boring, and sometimes insidious.

 

In order to make any sense of what I said I recommend watching, the documentaries "The Secret" and "What the bleep do we know?". With an open mind, for you have to come to grip with the fact that you have an AMAZING level of creative control over the experience that is your life.

You can do like about 99% of people and say this is complete BS.

Or you can do like I did, and keep a journal of your thoughts and emotions versus of all the events coming into your life. Personally it only took me approx 3 months to come to the conculsion that EVERYTHING that comes into your experience is a DIRECT result of the emotions, thoughts, and feelings, running throughout your entire being.

Once you come to grip with this complex, yet simple notion, all you have to do is shift this entire energy from the present tense to the future tense. And basically start being the "co-author" of your own experience.

And I say "co-author", because yes I do believe a God is at the root of this system. Thus I say the whole thing is GREY.

But hey, Don't take my word for it...

I sure didn't!!!

Only those who believe in themselves become themselves in the deluge and economy of experience.
