Now, we are back in Morrow, Ohio, home of the parents of my travelling companion, Will (IrishHobbit)..good place to be, especially since it's home base...
We aren't done though, just gathering resources for the next leg of the trip, which by the way, we have no idea where that is going to be to. Part of our plan includes seeing the SW US, deserts and what not ,maybe even the Pacific Ocean..I have a friend in Tucson, AZ..I was wondering if Hippiehillbilly or WhatermelonMan could offer any suggestions or hospitality in helping us accomplish this goal, We are willing to contribute to any efforts that are in progress.
I want to take this chance to say thanks to all the people who supported us and followed us through our first trip. From Sandusky, Ohio, Charles Johnson, the artist, www.charlesism.com...From Pelee Island, Ontario, Andrew, who allowed us to make some $$ on the first day of our journey., Of course, the city of Niagara Falls, ONTARIO,
who allowed us a good time and......even to..the city of Niagara Falls, NY, who also allowed us a good time, especially with our old friend, Mary Jane!! We also want to show our gratitude for the beautiful young ladies of Ithaca,NY as well as the beautiful countryside of the Finger Lakes Region. Also, awarm thanx goes to Mr. and Mrs. Dick and Cheryl Salman from Michigan (staying on Pelee Island) who fed us and showed us the sights of Pelee, and to Nika and especially Brittany from Boston, Massachusets who made our last bus trip from Ithaca to Dayton, OH more bearible. Steve from Niagara Falls, NY you were right!! That was some good ****!!! And to Amanda Wilder for pickings us up in Fairborne, OH and bringing us home for a spell!!

Where do we go next (somewhere between Cin, OH and Tuscon, AZ), any suggestions?? In need of work and crashspots.

PS I also wanted to see my sister Jackie's new baby!

    Happy B-Day Irish Hobbit!!

    Peace,

    Sodabandito

That sounds cool..The main reason we came back for now is to work on the green energy issue and to hopefully buy a cheap/dependable vehicle (do those words even go together?).. i am thinking that maybe in 3-4 weeks we'll start our next journey. Part of our next run about will definately include a stop at your place. C-ya soon.

I think that it's awsome that you're doing this. More people should follow their dreams.
This is something that I would love to do one day soon, too. I'm preggy right now, so it's not a good idea, lol.
Anyway, if you're ever headed up to Canada again, only this time on the west, there's an open door here for you to crash! This end of Canada is a LOT nicer than Ontario. There's the mountains and vallies and it's just wonderful. But don't come from October-April; it's kinda chilly. The rest of the time, it's beautiful! British Columbia is somewhere you're definately going to want to see, trust me!

Thanks teeny tiny, I was told by a few people in Ontario that BC was very cool...On our first trip, we didn't really plan ANYTHING at all...We were pretty much at a breaking point in life, one of those times when you want to just run away, so that's exactly what we did. Now, we plan to make some $$ and travel again very soon. Not sure right now about when we'll get into western Canada, but it is on the agenda!!

Also..I was wandering if anyone was planning to attend the Cumberland Gathering in Kentucky from May 13 - 23?? Hopefully, me, hairybuckeye and some others will make it there at some point..none of us have ever been to a gathering.

    Peace

    n/p!
I know how you feel about just wanting to pick up and run away. I wasn't able to travel really, but 2 years ago, I got bored of my life and just moved away to a new place. It was by far the most exciting thing that I've ever done...but that was just the start of it. Now I don't wanna stop! I get bored really easily, so this is the perfect thing for me!
Anywho, keep us updated! You'll love it when you come visit here!

If I meet them I will send your good wishes along...Now, though, I'm not sure if I will be able to make it to Kentucky during that week because today I ended getting a job that is going to send me to Illinois and then to Michigan, all in like two weeks...and they'll be puting me up in a motel room for free!! I'll be delivering phone books in these places for Yellow Book, so I'll be walking around these places just like I was walking around Ontario and New York, only this time, I'll be getting paid for it. Pretty ironic, but also pretty cool, I just found all of this out today, and I started delivering the books because right now they're in Hamilton, Ohio. Hopefully, I'll make enough money by the time those routes are completed to travel to some more places. I've never been to Illinois, or Michigan, so those places can bring some new experiences as well, even though both of those places probably still look like Ohio. I still want to come and visit your place too sometime this summer, as well as see some of the desert.

    Peace

If you're coming to Detroit, please don't let that affect your judgement on the rest of the state. It's really a beautiful place :) Especially up north, anything north of Saginaw Bay is pretty good.

Well...I kinda skimmed over some of the longer posts in this thread...but here are my thoughts. P I'm so happy for you guys that you've decided to up and follow your dreams! I think more people need to start doing the same. Once I'm out of HS, I'm planning doing just that...starting with a six week trip to the Dominican Republic...that is my first goal. :)

Right now I am actually travelling through the fucking Twighlight Zone...Everyone of us ends up here sooner or later.....

If anyone can please give me any information on so called "squatter's rights" in like apartments, I would greatly appreciate it....Some so called "christian" yuppies are making life hard on a good friend of mine who is a single mother....this is an EMERGENCY!!!!

All I was doing was trying to help someone out in the process of following my dreams, but, of course, "the powers that be" have to screw it all up....for everyone.

I won't go in to all the details right now...but we got yuppies, NAZIS, the law and all those WONDERFUL types trying to make life intollerable.

hairybuckeye......the Tanya situation is getting worse by the day...right now, ironically, I am back at "home" guarding the contents of our old apartment from the dreaded Bowman's.......remember the nice old, christian couple...Well, in this world, they're evil motherfuckers!!!! Call me dude....228-0779 ...I am here and I sent Tanya to stay in the motel.

Apparently, those yuppies could have Tanya arrested for TRESPASSING...this is LEGALLY my apartment, and I INVITED her....thats BS...
but I guess if you throw $$ around at the police station, then..........

that sounds cool....I wish I had a camper. Walking can be ok, but having something that can take you far, fast as well as being a rolling home would be the shit.
