Would the Russian people be any worse off if Putin was not the president?

As crazy as Putin is, if his back gets pushed against the wall, he may very well use nuclear weapons. Then what do we do?

Hopefully the Russian military will refuse the use of nukes and overthrow him.

    That's our only hope.

Parts of Ukraine are starting to look like Aleppo. Perhaps Russia's destruction of Syria was just a dry run, much like Hitler's destruction of Guernica. The U.S. did a pretty good job on Iraq, but we didn't bomb apartment buildings as far as I know. That seems to be Russia's trademark.

The latest UK British Intelligence briefing ,bringing an update of the situation.

In military terms Putin is making a pigs ear of this invasion bearing in mind he is one one of the biggest critics of the Wests's Afghanistan Evacuation debacle .

    Interesting idea.

Now would be the time for all the amateur and wanna-be 'hackers' in the west, to take a few shots at the domestic Russian technology, just like this example shows.

What used to be called the 'Black Hat' hackers could become the 'White Hat' type, and excercise their abilities for a good cause this time. Before Putin finds a way to cut Internet connections of their industries and daily-operating systems.

While this documentary is not about the current crisis, it serves to show what the Ukranian people have been through in 2014 and who these people are.

It's an hour and a half long but worth the watch when you have the time.

My wife and I watched that a few days ago. It's pretty interesting, although since I just woke up, I don't recall much about it. o_O

The thing about Putins threat to use nuclear weapons--he needs to be reminded that if he uses them--HE CAN BE --AND MAY BE-- VAPORIZED .

As was called in the '70s and '80s, Mutually Assured Destruction.

Problem is, does he give a shit? A 'true-believer's mind doesn't go that far into consequences.

Einstein wrote that World War IV will be fought with spears and rocks.

I have not watch it yet but I guess it starts at the 2014 conflict. Once one understands that then the current Invasion whys and what fors will make more sense .
