I believe the gorilla war is the best type of war against a classic army.
Ukrainian soldiers are more family to their lands, so they can move fast and easily, but the Russian soldiers are blind in Ukrainian territory. Guerrilla war causes fewer casualties to Ukrainian soldiers, and more deaths on the Russian side, pulse capturing more war equipment.

 

So russia has passed new laws which, based on their content, would seem to indicate that they're reconsidering their stance on mass mobilization and declaring a full-scale war.

I'm worried, if they cross this line. It's one more step closer to using nukes. Not to mention, this would then drag on for God knows how long.

 

Don't worry, Putin never does this mistake, he knows very well if he does, there is no more Putin to see his victory.

Trying to break the resolve of the West by more idle threats of weapons of mass destruction .

Backed into a corner because his military operation has failed in its objectives . 50,000 troops lost and most of his best units decimated . Now using reserve equipment in many cases . His recent announcement will cause many Russian young men to leave the country .

The only success he has had is the economic side of things such as the impact of Energy sanctions on Europe . These will be overcome given time and affect ruissia economically in the future leaving it with less funds to spend on its military .

No matter how you look at this , it has been an object failure by Putin and is desperate with that crap he announced this morning to keep face with the Russian people.

Dont listen to the propaganda regarding Nuclear weapons .

Thats what it is propaganda .

Even using a small tactical nuclear weapon doesnt make military sense , as his own troops would need to pass through it and its hardly going to help if your "liberating" a country. Chemical havnt been used and they would be used first as they can be cleansed.

That BS about nuclear weapons is designed to try and divide the West in particular some European partners .

I'm not taking any notice of it and its not worth discussing .

 

I listened very carefully to the 60 minute program and President stated "don't dpn't don't when asked what we would do if Russia uses tactical nukes, chemical or bio warfare. Granted the conventional Russian campaign is going very pear shaped. Yet Pres Biden never mentioned MAD Mutual Assured Destruction. I have looked up recently this doctrine and since the Cold War has gotten cold feet. MAD worked during the Cold War. It gives pause to the adversary. Because it was not stated in very clear terms by the President that sends a signal as far as I see that MAD is off the table.

 

Exactly MAD is associated with the exchange of Inter Continental Ballistic Missiles . The worse case scenario here will be the use of much smaller battlefield tactical nuclear weapons which are still part of the Russian military doctrine left over from the old Soviet military War doctrine of the Cold War. Most military strategists agree that the use in Ukraine would not be benificial for a so called liberating army .

Putin is just spouting hot air again like how he threatened Finland should she join Nato . Nothing came of that

 

With bullies though one has to state very clearly why the cost would be horrendous.

Tbh a lot of this is just propaganda and the Western Media are buying it as they like sensationalist headlines . Thats why he made sure western sources had access to his speech . What he wants hopefully is to worry people of other countries in particular Europe and so they place pressure on their military and political leaders to stop their support of Ukraine. His tactic is to try and divide the West so he can gain the upper hand . Propaganda is a very powerful tool is used correctly and most countires will use it in times of war to try and gain the upper hand . There are many examples I can quote such as the US one during the Gulf War about the claims of Weapons of Massed Destruction which the UK Blair Government ended up buying to justify UK's support of the US. And of course these weapons were never found as Iraq never had them All Propaganda .

 

I think so too, though Putin has now stated that he's not bluffing. Still, in this case it requires a response, telling him use of nukes will be considered an act of war by the US and NATO. Then if he orders a nuclear strike he'll surely be deposed (I hope!).

Biden is speaking at the UN right now, we'll see how he addresses the issue.
