Answer: No, sane people do not want a war. As for North Korea's large standing army, let's keep in mind that Iraq under Saddam had a huge standing army as well, and they were wiped out in short order by air power including cruise missiles. I agree with you that air power would be decisive, in favour of the ROK and US forces. Still, it wouldn't take many bombs to level Seoul and other South Korean cities. For that reason alone the ROK and US will want to avoid war against this madman, Kim Jong Il, if possible. If Kim should bomb Japan as well, the consequences can't be predicted. Japan has the technology to go nuclear quite easily, they wouldn't fumble their bomb development as the North Koreans have done. For obvious historical reasons, a Japan armed with its own nuclear weapons would not be a pleasant prospect.
lol? You don't think the market predicts world events? Let me guess ~ YOU don't believe in "Follow the Money Trail"? Okay, i'll fall for it ~ Why is it lol?
puffer fish, yup. tiny little thing, but when it puffs up it looks ferocious to a predator...when all it really is, is a bunch of hot air.
aight, i know there's a bunch of animals out there like this. something that sort of "bucks up" and looks really mean and tough when it really isn't.
Like a Porky-Pine (porcupine)? They look pretty fierce, but, other than the quills that are semi-poisonous, they're fluff... Or, if you want something/someone that is just full of hot air, might i offer up MaryJohn? (A TRUE hate/hate relationship!!!)
That's funny, 'cuz almost ALL animals will "puff up" when threatened... You may have stumbled upon a truth for our lifetimes: The Truth of Puffing Up. For real.
