This is NOT the land of the free that it once was. Let's look at some of the freedoms that have been raped....


Legislation, senate, House, etc. were ALL supposed to be appointed by each state and governed by each individual state, instead we have a large FEDERAL government to govern decisions and over ride state laws. Example, cancer patient in california uses prescribed medical marijuana, the feds arrest him because marijuana is illegal even though his STATE allowed him to do so..


To regulate commerce between the indian tribes, instead they were killed and raped, moved far away from us, and land was destroyed. Ask yourself, indians roamed this land in drones, free to do what the will, and now, in our fucked up nation, have you EVER seen a whole native american family at red lobster?? or walking around the mall?? Or even walking down the street???


To promote the Progress of Science by securing the exclusive Right to their respective Discoveries, albert hoffman (Which you all know passed a few days ago) created a chemical compound,,, LSD. According to the constitution we should still be able to FREELY use that compound, but the FEDS once again go against the founding fathers wishes.


Remember that bullshit "Patriot Act" bush passed, stating that we are legally under survailance!!!! How is that freedom??


Thousands of non violent marijuana offenders are behind bars, as I am typing this. How can a federal government, criminalize a PLANT!!!! And a plant with sooo many uses!!! Medical, industrial, commercial......


Freedom of speech and the right to peacefuly assemble to protest the government. BUT, back in september I went to a protest in DC against the war in iraq and 71 people were arrested for peacefully demonstrating!!!!!


Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; The United States currency has UNDER GOD, the president makes well known I AM A PROUD CHRISTIAN, and this whole backward nazi ruled country revolves around christianity!!!! Church and state are supposzed to be seperate, which it no longer is..

No matter what anyone can say, the US isn't really the greatest country in the world as it is so bragged about when you look at all the rights being taken away and how much people are oppressed.

 

i've traveled to alot of countries and most of them are pure shit compaired to the u.s.a.! i have seen a few (and i stress A FEW!) countries that are better then the u.s.a. in 1971 my parents took a trip to spain... 100% pure grade shithole! that was when franco was the fascist dictator there. i was scared shitless by what i saw in spain back then! my parents love it.(my parents were sick fucks too!) if this is what spainish fascism was like... i was overjoyed that germany was no longer fascist when i went there! (east germany was a 100% pure grade shithole though!) when franco died i was overjoyed and longed that the people of spain would have a better life. i went back to spain in 1996 and, things are one hell of alot better there now! in 1979 i went to the soviet union. that too was another 100% pure grade shithole! it was "somewhat better" (and that is streching it too!) then spain was. i have not been back to any of the nations that were once part of the u.s.s.r. yet, from what i know second hand (reading, radio, tee vee, web etc.) somethings are better but, it is still bad in alot of ways. i agree the u.s.a. is turning into a shithole too. we have been going to hell since about the mid 1970's to early 1980's howard zinn lays out how this has come about in good detail in his book "a people's history of the united states." READ IT! you get your first real education of u.s.a. history. not that bullshit you got in school either... it is almost all lies what you got in school. "america, love it or, leave it!" is false patriotism. true patriotism says: "america, change it or, lose it!" i have lived about 2/3 of my life in the u.s.a. and, about 1/3 of my life in canada (i have duel citizenship american and canadian.) and, i speak here as a citizen of both nations... the u.s.a. is well on its way to becomming a fascist dictatorship. this downward spiral can be stop but, are we up to the hard, hard, hard, work that involves and the large amount of blood that might (and i stress MIGHT!) be spelled? i don't know the answer to that nor, does anyone else. only time will tell. the future is un-written.

The Government here sucks but the USA is by far the best you're going to find.

It was more or less me just being sarcastic. No, I don't have any problems with potheads, being a former pothead myself. But it was the length at which the poster went on & on about his hatred for America all the while it seemed he was typing with his feet.....while stoned. Pretty difficult to carry on any kind of intelligent conversation when you can't make out what the hell you're trying to say.
