No one makes it through life without dying. i think you read it wrong.

everyone that has ever lived eventually dies. this will continue to the be case until (if) aging can be reversed/stopped.

 

so dying once just isn't enough for them?

 

The body laid down to recycle
The spirit, breath comes and goes from the body
It's called ;breathing the breath of life
There is no life in the body save for those organisms who cooperate in holy, total communion to provide you with a platform for communication in world of bodies.other wise the ethereal couldn't communicate in matter, the mind naturally abstract.
No body to talk to
The body is a biological machine. a machine a tool with many parts used to preform intended work, a communication device.
The soul that dies is the sense of spirit in the body no more breath going in and out, no more communication with it.
Leave the dead to bury the dead
Uproot your suffering
You look for life from beyond the grave
The spirit is always free to roam.

 

This is true but it is possible for some to live forever

Sure it does. I have seen many living things die. No breath.no activity. Withered and shriveled. Poof..back to dust

My wife died in my arms, I was giving cpr.
I have known and loved my wife quite a bit longer than you have been aware of body.
I know every speck of her inside and out and she of me
I felt her last communication with body lift up and pass through me and on Like the sweetest smelling softest breeze.
I laid the body down and stood up and looked down and nothing that I recognized was there.
It was turning into food, it was meat.
I didn't look at it again
For her I cannot bring myself to sorrow and forget where she has always been
Minds join together in the communion of life
Bodies only touch.

You weren't listening to a thing I said and it is very revealing of all that i am to share my heart. You aren't serving me well.

If you would remove your subjective prejudice you would see how silly you sound (insisting on taking the bible's descriptions on God literally to the same extent as a fundamentalist extremist). I bet you too realize that how god is described in the bible makes more sense if we look through the eyes of those who lived in the days it was written down.
God is not a psycho because they thought of and perceived Him through their own cultural and historical window. Now we are in a position to know and do better and you are still doing the same old same old. How futile

He doesn't like it when people point out he's only here to provoke and play, and not really for sharing knowledge and personal beliefs (which is what he's often trying to let us believe he's doing)

 

I know he doesn't like a lot of things but taste is traffic control for the unintended. Whereas it appears to him he is being knocked down it is so that he can discover if not true grit at least a speck of irritating rock in the sleepy eye that will make him start blinking awake. He is in the influence of my caring and I would help him see what his imagination reaches for.
