You can also set up a selenite grid in your room/apt/home. A wonderful crystal to work with. Very powerfull.
I'd say it to your face. I'm good friends with a professional psychic and I call her delusional all the time.
The only entities I know of who speak to me telepathically are actual living humans. And I wouldn't put it past them to pretend to be something else for whatever reason. They frequently put me on in various ways - trying to get me to lighten up, I believe. Actually a couple times I have had brief telepathic messages from entities who didn't seem like living humans. Very brief.

I think we are all capable of receiving messages...from the otherworld or telepathically but most of us have too much chatter going on in our brains to hear them.
I can only remember one, cuz I wrote it down afterward. I was lying in bed, starting to wake up. I was pissed at my telepathic companion Deanna, as so often happens, for the way she has treated me. I was contemplating ways to "pay her back" - which was foolish, but that's how the ego works, innit? Finally I gave up and thought, "Maybe I could just let it be and be peaceful about it." I started fading back into sleep, and was startled awake by a loud, kind of strained, ethereal, female-sounding voice saying, "A river came to us in the place of the armor." I contemplated this a bit. I thought about the nature of a river - it's flexible - it flows around obstacles, taking whatever path is most natural. However it's also incredibly strong, in a patient way - a river carved the Grand Canyon over many ages. The ethereal voice spoke again. "What is its source?" I thought some more. Rivers arise from snow and rain. "YOUR rain," the voice said. I thought about this for a bit - my rain, the rain of hard experiences - like the ones I had been mentally resisting a while before. Apparently she was saying the hard shit Deanna was putting me through was making me flexible, patient, and strong. And it has taken a long time, but I can see now that the ethereal voice was right about that.
It would be my guess that these are astral beings of some type . Like any where some are good , some are not . There are protection rituals like the circulation of white light , middle pillar , the l.b.r.p. ect. This is one I posted on a now closed forum . http://www.stevepavlina.com/forums/psychic-paranormal/68328-circulation-white-light.html other methods can be found on the net . desert rat
The Watchers.. that's what I call entities that watch you when you're reading a ghost story, or really anything that connects you to the supernatural, like right now. That's just me though.
I guess I'll post this here instead of making a new thread. Correct me if I'm wrong, but negative images and things depicting negative energies like 'the devil'/satanism are going to attract bad spirits, right? My roommate is into black metal music and just creepy things in general and since I feel like I may have been in contact with some negative spirits, I asked him if he can take a poster down. It was of a pentagram.(wow and I just looked up what pentagram represents and found that several religions use it to mean different things)...Anyways in the poster, the pentagram was being used negatively. He argued with me that it's just 'art.' I guess what I want to discuss is if you guys think as well that negative images can attract negative spirits? We live in a retirement community by the way because my roommate does maintenance here. I've always felt like the apartment is haunted and for good reason. I've overheard other tenants mentioning that someone has died in just about every unit...I'm wondering if their might be negative energy left from that. I've used sage on the place before. Another question, are their certain techniques in using sage? I just got some new sage a couple of days ago.
I write frantically when I get messages, because, like you, if I don't, then I will forget everything. It's interesting waking up the next morning and reading things that I wrote down. It's always very philosophical messages. If I was too tired to write something down, sometimes I'll remember a little bit of the message (much like someone remembers parts of a dream) but it doesn't make sense cuz I can't remember everything. This drives me crazy!!!! So I always try my best to write, write, write...
