I've been a member of these forums for 9 years now. They're about free speech. I wont be shouted down by those who want me to keep quiet because my view doesn't match that particular section's mood, theme or expectation. I'm a respectful and insightful poster who has valid points to add, and I will continue to do so despite you having made it clear that you do not welcome me here. I have said what I wanted to, but if I wish to address any further posts I shall.
I'm not shouting, Fingermouse. I think you have extremely valuable contributions. I agree with lots of your thoughts, and you and I could probably go on and on in this discussion. However I'm just trying to head off what seems to have become a thread derailment. It's not you alone, but your comments build on a previous discussion that is far afield from what Rainy was looking for - as she stated herself - AND you tend to be extremely forceful and aggressive in pursuing your points. But as you stated, you have said what you wanted to, so I guess there's nothing else to say on that subject unless Rainy chooses to continue it.
I have recently become interested in researching this topic of the Watchers. It actually has quite a history...one which I was not previously aware. I have, however, had an already intense interest in the nephilim...which it seems the watchers probably derive from. A nepilim ghost would be different, indeed.
tikoo's posts make me the happiest...and I wanted to have my 500th post before taking a break and I wanted it to be a positive post. Peace.
So I was sort of 'channeling' with a friend. She told me that the Rebels also exist. It's the watchers vs. the rebels and the watchers are actually the 'bad' guys that took over the world...or maybe we got some misinformation and it's the other way around?
Did you by chance read the stuff I linked? According to the Book of Enoch, yes, the Watchers are more or less the "captains" of the fallen angels, and are NOT the "good guys". I'm still baffled by the fact that you are willing to believe things such as you posted above, yet you say this; Why is the stuff you believe any more credible or "believable" than anything in the Bible?
I havn't had a chance to read the links you've posted, but I plan on it. I think you're either not understanding the things that I'm saying or you're just not listening. I'm more apt to believing something that comes to my mind telepathically rather than believing something that is written in a book by someone else.
OK, thank you, that does make it a lot clearer and understandable. You defer to knowledge based on personal experience rather than second hand, anecdotal accounts. I understand and respect that.:2thumbsup: But is corroborating your experiences with another living person that different than corroborating them with what people have written? I'm sure there are books/scriptures/writings that you hold to and identify with which the authors have long since passed. You just gave the impression that you were open to any other writings concerning supernatural occurrences, but the Bible can't be trusted while these other sources can.
You know what.. Whoever said I would be tossed out of the occult circles earlier for believing the watchers are aliens- whatever. My heart still tells me that they're aliens, this is how I percieve them. An alien isn't necessarily a green martian. Their appearances can vary greatly. An alien isn't necessarily 'little men' from outter space. An alien can be many things. I'm going to believe myself & my heart before I put my faith and trust into a book.
I don't trust anything I read, I'm open to it and know it could possibly be true (but people tend to change stories to their liking), but I'm not gonna completely trust it 100%. I trust what comes from within myself...
Yeah, but you do have to check what "comes from within yourself" against other "sources" for validity and truthfulness. The psychiatric wards are full of people who only trust and believe what comes from within. Not implying your crazy, just that your "heart" may not always be right.
Weird that you mentioned 'captains' because me & my friend were just discussing last night who the captain is...captain of a persons life, I suppose. I gathered that all of us are our own captains. Now people who usually follow religion think they're doing good for the world but they're actually not....and they're followers, they're not their own captain.
just came across this: Invictus by William Ernest Henley Out of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul. In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed. Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find, me unafraid. It matters not how strait the gate, How charged with punishments the scroll, I am the master of my fate: I am the captain of my soul.
