    eastern u.s. has pulled all the storms away from the west. as it often seems, when one coast gets all the weather, the other gets almost none.
    not that i object to seeing the sun occasionally too.

    The highest temperature yesterday in the town that I had gone in Eastern Turkey was only -1.7°C (elevation: 2030 metres).
