The implicit assumption then is that you believe an aspect of yourself dwells outside of time and space. Again, How do you expereince non-physically?

person = awareness if a non-physical thing exists, that is aware of its existence, yup, that's a person. now as we actually know absolutely nothing about what a god, should there choose to be one, is or is not, yes a god could be a committee, or a computer, or anything. but odds are really better on it being non-physical, then anything else we might imagine or claim to know about it.

as for as much of the one universe we are in that we are able to observe of it, aside from a lot of it seeming to be relatively empty, it is not so much light nor dark, as infinitely diverse. the confusion about light, is that radiant energy, is the medium by which we first discovered its existence. first in the form of visible light, and later, as we developed more sophisticated technologies to detect it, radiant energy in other forms as well.

that doesn't mean its composed exclusively of light, only that "light"/radiant energy, is the means by which we have, of observing, its existence.

I think the conceptual dichotomy of light and dark is simply an evolutionary ideal which is ingrained in us, due to the circumstances we find ourselves. We are certainly better adapted for activity during the day, as we see better during the day and rely so much on sight. This is likely in part why we value 'the light' much more.

We are on a planet with 1 moon as well, so the celestial bodies which loom for us make this dichotomy apparent.

It would be interesting to see if we still thought of this dark/light dichotomy if we lived on a planet with multiple moons orbiting around it or if we were on a planet which had a binary star system.

obviously you consider this true of everyone but yourself, having now spouted your bs about what you think god is. You are no brighter on this issue than a cast iron skillet.

First off there is no "one true god." All that bullshit is a myth that was used by the Roman Catholic Church to rake in the coinage from the dumb asses they fooled.

Whatever you invoke has behind it all the power at your disposal. the etymological meaning of the word god is that which we invoke. Certainly we have a devoted aspect to the things we say are true.
