The worst band ever

This is a bad question, too general with too many possible choices. How could there be a worst band of all time? And why would that band have legions of fans and millions of $$$ for the effort.

I do have a nominee even so. From the Rock/ Metal catagory:

I'll prolly hear shit for this,with dude being dead & all,but Ive always thought drowning pool sucked ass.how "bodies" became a hit is beyond me.also fuck linkin park,limp bizkit& all this other new crap being passed off as metal.give me some acid bath,pantera,old sepultura,old metallica,slayer..shit that makes you wanna get drunk & smash shit..let me get a "hail satan"!!!!!!!!

someone said Nirvana sucks but I disagree with that..I love Nirvana and Kurt Cobain-in my mind-was one of the greatest guitarist:H .. However one band that does suck is Metallica, for some reason I hate all their old and new shit.

You think that legends like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin could fit into the same catagory as nu-metal which you call "worthless shit..."

little boy, if there was no Zeppelin or Floyd, there wouldn't be any of the stuff you listen to today. These two bands have influenced more artists and bands more than any other I would imagine.

 

People can still be creative without the help of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, and they are.

 

I'm not saying they can't be, but when people listen to certain music and really get into it, they can't help but be influenced by it when they begin to write their own.
