If you've ever seen a tree perc, or a dome perc, it's like a fuzion of the two. Smoke comes up the middle of the mushroom shaped piece, and them down below the water level and out the slits around the bottom. It's a version of the dome perc with less drag, because like on a showerhead downstem, it plays nicer with the waters surface tension and other factors, to coax the bubbles through with less force.

 

i would be HONORED to smoke that..

 

...but i prefer the $1.00 rolling paper instead :ssmokeit: :tongue:
