I don't wear caps, I wear either a Trilby or a Ushanka, its only those 'Oop north', like yourself, who wear flat caps !!!

 

I was making reference to the definition of the phrase, not the covering of the head - (best get someone to explain that to you)
(By the way 'Oop' is actually spelt Up - (Oop(s) signifies a mistake, and not a geographical directional location)

• I have found in/with some people that opine with hot air bravardo, there are two types of ignorance:-:

Those who do not know what they are talking about - and require educational awarenes
Those who do not know what they are talking about - whose blinkered arrogance shows their calbre of character
