I have been fortunate enough not to have this experience, but I’ll tell you what I would do.... MOOOOVE!!!!
No hon, the ghost moved to my neighbour. All quiet last night, I think it is doing the Avenue. Two houses along from me, had problems in the early hours.
I have a ghost in my house. It's just a mischievous ghost. I have a kitchen clock that will not keep time. I change batteries, it's good for a day or so then it's way off. I've even replaced the clock. At one point I saw the click not ticking. I cussed the ghost out, and the clock began ticking again. Rather loudly. My house is 100 years old. I did a remodel quite a few years ago. The kitchen is currently where the living room used to be, and visa versa. There was once a wall between the rooms and I took a big section of it out. I honestly think that's what enticed the ghost to start 'haunting' me. The clock is hung on a remaining section of the wall. It changes the settings on my dishwasher too. It's not a touch pad or anything sold state. It's a mechanical switch to set it on energy saver. It gets flipped to heated dry by itself. And the location of the switch on the panel.is such that I would have to try to bump it to make it move. The latest is the exhaust fan that's built into the microwave above the stove will turn itself on. I recently replaced the microwave. The old one quit totally, but when it was working, on occasion it would do the same thing. Over the years, I've had several dogs. At some point I've caught every one of them staring out towards the kitchen....like they can see something that I can not. Or like the ghost can get their attention. This ghost knows that I'm not afraid of it. And it's never been a situation where I felt like I was in danger, like kitchen knives flying out of the drawer or something. It's just a prankster.
Exactly short of being on the payroll the ghost isn't simply going to appear because a video crew shows up at the house.
