There is a problem that needs to be fixed!

Man lighting a shit ass lighter outside on a windy day can be quite tricky though.

 

haha, that happens to me too..it completely ruins my mood because im not sure if they are serious or not lol.

 

haha so true! especially when your smoking out of a bowl cuz you have to keep lighting it when it's windy as f***!! that's why i'm saving up for a volcano vaporizer.

 

Notice most of weed smokers (at least in my age group) are MALES... and thats bullshit how its not usually guys... well let me tell you... IT IS... god I hate when people at my school say "Yeah i smoke, i smoke all the time", and then when you do...

a) Cant light the lighter
b) Breath out the bowl (resulting in a waste of weed)
c) Have NO CLUE what a carb is, or how to use it
d) Burn their fingers from trying to get the flame INTO the bowl, instead of using the air to bring the flame to burn itself... (this is the one I hate the most)
e) SPILL THE BONG WATER OUT OF THE BOWL... jesus.. that one really gets to me..

you guys should stop complaining and just help the people.

chances are they will get super high and you will enjoy it.

 

I smoke everyday, but what the fuck is a carb, ive never heard of that before. watch, someone will say what it is and ill just have a different name for it..

 

The carb is the hole on your pipe/bong. Usually acrilic bongs have them. On glass, they usually have a pull out male slide.

oh man if a chick, digs you and she's atleast decent to look at sober then *snap* teach her. it gives you an excuse to make physical contact. she could sit on your lap while you lite the bowl for her...

 

Even as a knowledgeable female smoker, I'll agree with this. Girls are more often novices, and more apt to fuck up. Lip to lip shot guns can be very hot though. I'd go for that if you are with a chick who can't smoke out of lack of ability. If she just doesn't understand the meaning of a word, no need to get bitchy about it. You weren't born knowing what a carb is either.

 

haha me too. im a chick, by the way, and i think there are just as many stupid guys out there... but really, i guess i shouldnt talk because i have a tendancy to force someone to light my lighter for me, which apparently gets on everyone's nerves.

 

I guess that i'm a bit different than everyone... i love smoking with new people. I feel like i'm a spolesman on the world of maryjane. teaching someone how to hit a bong is teaching an art that will most likely change them forever. Many pieces are different, so it will take beginners a while to get used to different pieces and the termonology of the different parts.

People who don't smoke alot but claim they toke like Marley should have their lungs ripped out. Weed isn't about being Mr./Mrs. big shit... it doesn't make you cool. Well... not the fact that you smoke... Getting high will definately expand your mind~~

 

some of you missed the context of the complaining. its not the fact that they cant do it, its the fact that they give the impression in teh first place that they arent total novices. 'yeah, i smoke pot'. they act like their in -wid it- and then continue to act as though they know what theyre doing instead of saying 'look ive never done this properly, can you show me?', leading to the lighter issues, blowing into the pipe, spilling water, things that can be advised against, but are assumed known when the person puts a pretense of being -wid it-

 

i remeber the first time i smoked a glass bowl, our pipes were stone, aluminum, or joints. but ya, i didnt know a glass bowl had a carb so i was hitting it with the carb open, the friend i was with was nice enough to show me were it is and what to do,m last week this dude came over and this other chick from school the chick smokes on occasions, the dude sais he has a bong and smokes every day, and he hit my bong with a slider, and didnt clear it. it was terrible, then when i took the bowl out and told him to clear it it hit him like sack of bricks

 

Agreed... although sometimes wasting a little bud is a necessary evil. I taught three incoming freshman girls how to properly use a bong during the summer.
I would, however, suggest it's important to make sure anybody you teach to use a bong/pipe you also teach to roll a joint/blunt. A feeling of gratitude is also a good thing, so they'll roll joints and blunts while you hit a bong

Also: Is it just me, or do carbs get annoying? I taped my pipes over (both of which are broken at the moment... drunk kid dropped them) so I could just not bother with the carb. On bongs, I much prefer to just hit it till I cough, and the moment my head moves off it my hand goes on. the next person just gets a free chunk of smoke.

 

Too lazy to read the 3rd and 4th pages of replies before I forget this...

But yeah, I don't mind teaching new smokers, or someone who has never been taught or hasn't smoked for a while etc...

I'm just talking about like, people who act like they should know it all and then don't know crap and waste weed etc etc

Or especially when they aren't holding the carb and then they are like, "Wtf this bong is shitty dude!"

 

I understand that it could be fun teaching a chick to smoke as well...that's how I met my ex-girlfriend haha

But like also...it's completely hot when you hand a girl a bong and she just kinda turns it around a few times as if to say, "WTF?" but then all the sudden...*SNAP!* huge rip haha

 

No carb= stale smoke...gross

But you know how the saying goes:
"Roll a joint for a stoner, you get them high for the night. Teach a stoner to roll, get them high for life."

 

Well Im also not going around telling everyone Im an experienced smoker, and not knowing what a carb is... that there is a problem

 

I've never used a bong or pipe :&

We stick to joints up here in Yorkshire...

but it means I'm screwed if somone offers me a bong hit
