Which is essentially what he did. He cut/pasted the whole article, giving no indication that someone else had written it. Thus he implied that he was just writing these ideas like he would any other post.
yet he did NOT say he had written it. cutting and pasting an article doesn't equate to plaigarism. on the other hand, had he claimed to have written it when he in fact did not. that would be plaigarism. not providing references does not equate to plaigarism. albert einstein didn't provide any references for his theory of relativity. but at the same time you won't find very many people quick to say albert einstein plaigarised it.
I meant to the fact that they dictate where we live based around our income, our social status, and our personal views. To an extent we do decide where we want to live but not in full. I recall seeing documenteries on Saddam's cruelty long before 2000. My brother who was in desert storm even related several accounts that the government had addressed of his cruelty to me when I was younger. I would like to see some of these interviews if you would provide a link.
Regardless of whether he intended to or not, not providing a link to any article is plaigarism. He did not give credit to where it was due. Also by not providing links it shows that he either A:took the entire article out of context. or B: wishes to hide something. The hipforums is based around links. I rarely provide any myself because most of what I state is my opinion and mine alone.
That's totally irrelevant. We're not talking about references, we're talking about giving credit for some else's work. What you post here is assumed to be your own work, unless otherwise stated. Posting it without a link, and without saying in any way that it wasn't his writing, equates to claiming it as his own. Plagiarism.
Why do internet arguments always turn into pissing contests of grammar knowledge and correct writing/citing technique?
Because there is no way Yeal or Zorba or any other person is going to change another persons beliefs by typing back and forth on a forum. Tey both know this, and so do all of the other people in this thread, but they don't want to stop because they both know they are right. I'm not siding with one or the other, just saying, arguing on an internet forum is kinda pointless. More fun and productive in real life. The Mushroom Man
^Fighting on the internet is like running in the special olympics... no matter if you win or lose, you are still retarded.
There's a difference between fighting and having an educated discussion. If you decide to fight over something like conspiracy then yes I suppose you are stupid. But if you simply discuss it then I think you're just talking. Hmm Peace, love, an' freedom
I think I need to go back to the psychedelics forums, at least everyone there has their head on straight The Mushroom Man
yeah w/e man us stoners got our heads straighter. Least I think, hold on man I gotta catch it.... dammit
Son of Peace, in reply to your asking for an interview, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stVmEmJ666M Sorry I don't know how to make a hyperlink. Just copy and paste I guess. I would also encourage you to watch the Penn and Tellar episode of Bullshit! about 9/11 conspiracy. On top of providing useful information, it's actually really funny. In response to your statement about Saddam, and there being reports of his cruelty around 2000, your actually correct. There were reports, rumors, and little documentation, but there was no solid proof. As soon as America knew for sure what Saddam Hussein was doing, we took proper action.
Well if several people outside the society know about it it must not be so secret. Hmm, I'm high so I guess I just don't care about much atm. Come smoke my hookah with me man.
See, if everyone just smoked a J and chilled out once a week, the world might be a tad bit nicer. Just a thought... The Mushroom Man
i just lost that tiny fuckin ball that is inside my hookah!! and i can't find my old BB gun to see if one will fit...I'm pissed off about that
