man oh man.... there is a lot to learn from other people, in many ways and forms.

oh and wuts the difference between me and maher saying it? its the same words, it came from my brain, i didnt have to look it up to respond

he did it on a standup act,and it made a lot of sense to me, and stuck in my head. ---sigh---

LOL... one of the first responses that came into my head was from a bob dylan song
'if there was an original thought out there, i could sure use one now'

theres nothing new under the sun man, we are more alike than different. his thought is my thought and my thought is his thought. we may experience the thought a little different, or see it a little differently, but it is still the same base.

    It is not your though...it's his...dammit :p

Same basis, whatever..y.our'e still using someone else's quote... not yours!

I have nothing against quotes, but like I said, start parephrising (sp) yourself, not some singer, comedian, etc... You can base your life on the thoughts of others or base your life on your own thought... you choose, dear chap.

and no, I did not misunderstand what you said... I was just pointing out its stupidity.

man...... be man enough to admit when u are wrong. that is the only way you will ever learn, realize you don't know all the answer, or have it all figured out( i am in no way saying i do either, i still have MUCh to learn). dont be so clingy.

did you miss there is nothing new under the sun part or something?

it is OUR thought, we are both humans, experiencing more or less the SAME experience.

Yeah, it's a shame that we are all judgemental. But I do believe that we all are, and that there isn't any chance that we will ever be otherwise. All we can do is try and be as little judgemental as possible I guess. :)

I know, for once, that you make no sense at all.

Lay off the pot, grow up, and then come back to talk to me.

escaping reality? if annything i would say it magnifies reality.. and shows you 'reality' under a big giant magnifying glass,,, you feel and see every thing so much more intensley, and if you are comfrotable with yourself, it can be a really beautiful life changing spiritual experience.

i think a lot of hipsters would agree that they probably wouldnt be the person they are today had they not tripped.

    Magnify reality? No. Change reality.

Killing braincells was never my favorite thing in the world.

Not the person they are today without tripping? What are you on...acid?!
