I was on a school with mostly whites, most people were pretty reasonable, but there were also enough with some far right opinions about people with a different background, and also some who thought they were neo-nazi's. Most of those got rid of those ideas when older, but a lot of the white people with far right ideas still have those opinions. Just like their parents I suppose. I think their just as dangerous (which is not very, but they still can hassle someone who's different then they) as the juvenile nazi-sympathizer.
Haha man, you crack me up sometimes. But well, you're right. But she could get it removed for some big bucks.
Do nothing about it. Everyone has the right to be different, even if it makes you uncomfortable and when she's, like, I don't know, sixty, she'll think twice about that tattoo. It's not so easy to cover it up. She's just trying to fit in. And as we all are.
Indeedy-do. Haha, imagine if she changes her opinions and starts going out with a black guy.. that'd be fuckin' hilarious, man.
I know you are a kid, but this is one of the stupidest posts ever. Of course anyone has the right to tell anyone that they are fucked up, we of course have the right to express our opinions. In reaction to this post, i could say "what gives you the right to tell the orignal poster that they don't have the right..." off into infinity. In response to the original poster, you are too good to mix with someone as scummy as a neo-nazi. Not only are they not worth your time, they are not worth anyones.
Just be peaceful with them, and try to avoid them! i wish you good luck, but don't worry, tey ain't gonna kill you! peace!
Thanks drumminmama.. (and you're banned now? wtf?) First, I would love to do nothing except that Nazism regardless of her personal beliefs is supporting the people who killed my family. I don't care if she is personally going to do that, but if she is even saying she is a Nazi, I don't see the distinction between that and telling me that killing my family was justified. Secondly, in Canada there are limits to free speech when it is promoting hate. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms does guarantee free speech, but unlike the American bill of rights, ours was written in 1982 when people no longer had slaves. Therefore, when she promotes Nazism, it's not exactly legal... I know that doing nothing is definitely the best thing to do. But I just can't allow people in my community to be representing a group that murdered my family. I don't know if non-Jews can really empathize, but it's something that I really feel I can't just let go. Am I being crazy? Even if it's okay for someone to support fascism, it is objectively wrong to support racism and the mass murder of certain religious and ethnic groups. And even if I wasn't a member of that ethnic group, I feel the need to speak up.
Has she expressed hatred towards you specifically? If not, let it go. She was likely raised that way, and it's highly unlikely anything anyone can do will change her mind. If you'd like to bring her offensive tattoos and such up to the administrators, then they can force her to cover them up. I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to accomplish here, but why does she deserve any less of an education than you? Don't push to be her friend, but don't snub her, either. Just let it go and let her be her. You can't save everyone.
Nazism and Judaism are equally retarded in my eyes. Both are superstitious BS. As an athiest, I am glad I don't have to deal with any of this shit, or feel the need to assert my judaism or christianity, or hinduism or whatever.
i really don't appreciate someone calling my religion "retarded" or comparing it to nazism. i mean, my religion doesn't preach hatred or killing; in fact its the opposite. just if you feel this way, keep your fucking mouth shut, okay?
creeeeeeeeeeeepy ive run into people like that but they usually seem full of crap.. she seems pretty serious.. thats kinda creepy.. i wonder what turns someone into something as hateful as a nazi...
well moses did kill alot of people but not as much as hitler ofcourse he also didnt have the same artillery
That was rude and uncalled for. I live less than a mile from a set of trailers with around 20-30 Neo-Nazi survivalists in it. They teach their kids to live this way and everything. All they do is preach hate. They are notorious for being parasites and wreaking havoc on people they don't like. I, actually, was actually one of their targets once. I was walking home on my road (they live on the one next to me - I live in a rural spot) when a truck filled with about 5 or 6 (there were 2 in the front and like 3 or 4 in the back part) of them came driving up to me yelling hateful things based on my looks. (Tie-dye Grateful Dead shirt, hemp necklace, long hair) They know I'm a liberal as I write in the newspaper a lot, something they don't agree with.. They stopped beside me and followed me as I simply walked home, they were saying things like "if we had a gun, we'd shoot your ass" and stuff. I didn't say anything to them, just kept walking (they're more talk than action). The most action they actually took was one spat at me as they left. I find it odd however they called me a druggie and stuff, yet they sell meth.. Oh well.. Hypocrites. One of their comments was "We're gonna come back for you and next time we'll have a gun. That way we can finish your ass once and for all". How they can say stuff like that to me without even knowing me is beyond me. I called the cops when I got home but they didn't do anything.
You have a lot of anger issues to deal with. You must realize that people will dislike both your religion, and you because of your religion. You're a jew... and as long as you insist on being jewish, it's inevitable. Judaism is the most hated religion on this earth, learn to accept that fact, live with it, and to not be bothered by it. You are more than lucky that you're a jew in the 2000s living in the US. All the persecution you will face here are some tattoos and idiotic neo-nazis. Anywhere else during another time, and you would have been beaten up, verbally abused, deprived of a whole lotta rights, or just plain murdered. Grow up and realize that you are extremely lucky as a jew.
Mine is a little less graphical... It's just his face with a cult revolver in his mouth, that just pulled the hammer closed with blood splatter effects saying, "Follow your leaders."
I don't need to grow up and I don't have anger issues. I'm simply not taking shit from people; I don't think being passive is going to help. And I don't just stand up for Jews...I actually experience a lot of shit within Jewish communities for my STRONG beliefs that we have to make peace in the middle east before even thinking about taking Israel. I get associated with all the fundamentalist Arab-hating zionists even though I only want peace. I could never accept that I belong to the most hated religion ever. Yes, I have experienced verbal abuse. Yes, my girlfriends best friend won't stop pressuring her to get rid of me because I'm a Jew. No, my life isn't in danger, and there aren't any actual laws against us. I never asked for people to like my religion. All I ask for is for people to try and understand it just like I try and understand theirs. I'm actually a very open minded person and it's only recently that I've come to feel that strong connection with Judaism. Before that, I explored many different philosophies, which I continue to do. There's a big difference between agreeing with me and respecting me. All I want is some respect, just like the respect I show to others. The only time I can't show respect to someone is when they're expressing hate which I just can't tolerate. I wouldn't be acting any differently if someone was expressing hate towards christians, muslims, hindus or any other religion, or hate towards someone for their ethnicity, gender, orientation, race, class or anything else. I try and educate people about tolerance. This hate was in the context of me being a part of an anti-discrimination activism group at my school and working very hard to educate people through conferences, and other forms. It horrifies me to see this hate going on in my school. I understand that there's a lot more hate out there in the world. I try and deal with that. But I start locally to act globally. I apologize for being so much of an asshole about it with my comment before. I know that it wasn't constructive, and I'm trying to make my point here...
Yo dude seriously, just don't worry about that shit I think. It is unsettling to see such shit, but at the center we're all just human. Hitler was hitler because THERE WAS NO ONE to talk sense to him, it was an isolated country due to the league o nations ill construct... If she is so isolated and internally frightened by others based on such levels of topical meaning. It would be wise for her to adopt strong philosophies, or perspectives if you will, that those who choose their path, HAVE A CHOICE. And thus, individuality is emphasized, making way for the pairing of equal minds in harmonious cooperation, instead of the division of soals in upheaval madness. It's up to her to get it, I just wouldn't recommend pushing buttons is all. Best of luck dude. Peace <(Emphasized).
