Also Jeremy Corbyn looks like a kiddie fiddler, so it should be a shoe in

I disagree that she's anything like Thatcher. Much as I disliked Thatcher, she did have firm principles, and didn't undergo 180 degree turnarounds all the time.

May is simply an opportunist who goes whichever way the wind blows.

I assume Scotland's oil revenues over the past few decades are exempt from that statement.

Maybe they're also worried that under the studio lights the strings might show. Like they used to now and then on 'Thunderbirds'.

Well, maybe it's best if Scotland went independent. Then we wont be a burden to the rest of the UK.

Norway has oil and they have a massive economic surplus. We on the other hand are up to our necks in debt, people are living in poverty and the NHS is on the verge of collapsing.

    Who's fault's that?

Where did all that wealth go, to pay for nuclear submarines?

problem with north sea oil is that it costs more to extract at the moment than its worth !
also its an unpopular comodity these days with lots of alternative energy sources being used
I would hate to hang the future of the country on oil
Scotland's exports totalled £76 billion, of which £48.5 billion (64%) was with constituent nations of the UK, £11.6 billion with the rest of the European Union (EU), and £15.2 billion with other parts of the world.
    ?
?The submarines I have no Idea ?

You were trying to suggest that Theresa May has a greater sense of morality with regards to stealing money than Nicola Sturgeon.

I was pointing out the tories record of diverting our economic resources away from public services into war, much of that economic resource over the past few decades coming from Scotland's oil

    Who stole Scotland's oil wealth?

    The tories.

What party is Theresa May the current leader of.

    THE FUCKING TORIES!

No, you didn't explain why, despite being or at least up until now being off the coast to one of the world's richest oil resources our country is on it's knees with millions of people trapped in the renting sector on low paid jobs with no prospect of getting on to the property ladder, people queueing up for food banks and disabled people having their dignity taken away from them. And all the rest.

    Who did that?

Was that the tories that did that?

    That's what everyone says.

The Blairites want him out, but I wonder if they'll suddenly stand in line now the prospect of getting elected is on the table again?

    Too late to change leader.

    My prediction: hung parliament
