i think they did somethin here in minnesota where anyone under the age of 18 cannot drive with a cellphone.. or while they got their permit... i cant remember which... but i dont see how that fixes the situation
Cellphone is the tool of the devil... it has allowed terrible things to take place: Car Accidents, The disturbance during lectures in our colleges, distraction of general public, impotence in men, decreased education levels in children, and excessive masturbation in womenfolk.
so if youre over the age of 18 then minnesota thinks youre capable of safely able to operate a cell phone while operating a motor vehicle right.,,. yet again another example of politicians and common sense not co-existing sigh., ive never been in an accident in my life but ill be damned if i have not witnesses with my own two eyes(no, i dont have one, or three, heh) someone blatantgly running a stopsign, or not looking one or BOTH ways before crossing interestions with a stop sign or stop light, and other personal instances/examples IMHO no operation of cell phones should be allowed while operating a motor vehicle, i have seen too many near miss accidents, or horrible driving while combining the two. alot of ppl are just not capable of multitasking and should not be combining operation of really anything while operating a motor vehicle, let alone reading, or watching a TV or what have you, common sense just doesnt exist in many cases, with many ppl, its good to see that in foreign countries that there is common sense in RE of operation of motor vehicles and laws good luck
. So by your logic, people shouldn't be allowed to have conversations with their passengers because that takes your mind off the road. I'm sorry but I don't agree with the majority of you. I can chew gum and walk. I used to drive for a living. I see it like this: I paid for my car, I paid for my cell and I've never caused a traffic problem before. Seems like yet another way the government is taking away rights. I see the point of safety but its not the cell phone, its the distraction. I mean really......next you'd have to disallow cds, food, or cigarettes in cars. I just don't see how their stupidity has anything to do with me and my driving ability
