pennsylvania state law can go fuck itself. i actually have seen cases of steel reserve, although it's kind of rare.
Now THAT is a damn fine selection of beer! (WTF is the Four Loko doing in there??) I've had a good number of those. I have wanted to try Pliny the Elder for years, but it's not available around here.
Dumb question time! What is meant by thick beer? I am not a beer drinker so I have no clue what that means.
the pliny isn't available here either. this was from a big beer tasting a few months ago at my place. i always throw a random nasty forty in there for giggles. and the funny thing is, with a house full of people drinking world-class beers from all over, less than half the can of Four Loko was left.:afro:
Not really. Thick beer doesn't have to be malt liquor. Any heavy beer, whether it's an imperial stout, doppelbock or scotch ale, could be considered "thick." It's not really think, per se, but has a fuller body than most beer. Malt liquors aren't really thick, just more alcoholic.
I wish Fort Bragg was a little closer to me so that I could get to the actual Brewery more often... I mean it is only a couple hours away but I am lazy. But beer just tastes so good coming right from the source.
