Along with google, tineye is a good, free site to see if an image was lifted from a website.
The lack of it being recognized, doesn't mean it's an original, but at least a minimum of due diligence. You can also download the image, & check the Exif data. Unless the forum scrubs that info?

Safety tip for gals (& all others), disable GeoTagging on your phone's photo settings. Elsewise, when you text or email, that selfie, by default it includes your GPS coordinates where the photo was taken. Could be your home, workplace, gym, friends, parents home, etc.! It's done to make life easier to organize photos. You have to check it's off. Double check after every OS update.
If you're on a trip or hike, then you can turn it back on.

Since this is about confusion, what is the opposite of due diligence? Undue or past due or unpaid diligence?
