Although the analog logic I'm developing can certainly be used for stupid bots designed to drive people crazy online, its actual purpose is to reach out to those already prepared to change. A ten year cross disciplinary study of the I-Ching concluded it was word perfect and complete for introspective purposes. Developing the analog logic and incorporating it in a VR environment would mean that instead of decades of meditating upon obscure Asian texts, you could learn how to become more honest with yourself in an interactive environment and join the Yin World much easier.

I've been trying to figure out where, pragmatically speaking, the dividing line is between the magical and causal universe and the mind is where the two diverge. For example, a room temperature superconductor was recently patented and a thermal diode, or Maxwell's Demon that can make ice cubes at room temperature. While these are almost magical appearing in the way they work, when you enter the Yin World mother nature steps it up to the next level where there are no remaining doubts.

Yep,stopped watching mainstream lies years ago now.
It gets so much more obvious when you aren't invested in the "stories" too.
E.g. 5 people attacked 2 One Nation volunteers at a polling booth on Saturday and local news reported with One Nation supporters involved in a fight. That implied they were up for a fight and got into it instead of being jumped from behind and having to fight for their lives. Disgraceful.

When people who know better abuse umpires.
Officiating any game of any sport is difficult.
Spectators need to be less abusive because it causes harm to those that umpire.

 

Umpires get paid good money to look the other way.

 

I find it differs per channel and also per country how bad it is. But (plenty of) newspapers are better, as you can only go by the content.
Where do you get informed about recent news or background articles on topical stuff?
