Things that make ya mad!

professionals, i believe it. but most people seem to forget that a good 99% of umpires/referees are volunteers (or at best, very low paid and barely trained semi-pros) covering youth/amateur games. yet the shitty parents/fans who refuse to help when asked still talk mad shit in an attempt to drive away the few good people who do agree to help.

 

The Mafia themselves would gladly provide all the volunteers anybody could want. What most people conveniently forget is that sportscasting is more gambling money than all of Vegas put together. The cameras and computers are the only thing saving them from a meltdown, but if sports figures take anymore steroids and bribes they will have to wear business suits and political party buttons.

 

I use a clothes line.
I do accept we are the minority these days though.

Preferably, every line of my poetry is a common phrase or song lyric or quote, and you could say I'm whittling the whole batch down to the most humble and elegant collection that reflects physical reality according to modern science. I have two fathers that were career navy, a brother in law, and at least half a dozen others that served. It bugs me when they say thank you for your service as well, because the Pentagon might as well be working for the highest bidder. My family knows the difference between a warrior and a hired thug and most pretend they are still warriors, but it is literally killing them.
