I avoid supermarkets when i know they're crowded. But also ask a stock clerk pretty fast if I want something I can't find. Almost always saves time!

I've never tried food delivery. I like leaving the home and going on adventures too much to rely on someone to bring things to me.

You just have to say what you're looking for :p Most supermarket store clerks are kids here

See thats actually why I started doing delivery. I usually do my shopping on Sundays and I found I was having to hit up a grocery store on the way home from doing something fun after I was already exhausted, or put off Sunday plans until after I went to the grocery store in the morning. Whereas with delivery I just tell them to come in the evening or whenever I know i'll be home. It allows me more time for actual adventuring

I've done that. Vons brought the wrong ice cream or some kind of thing. I can't remember what it was. I think they had a policy that they substitute a similar thing instead of you just not paying for whatever they didn't have. If I'm remembering it right and that's how it was, I know I would hate that. And these days I go to the store and get my groceries. no deliveries.

me too, but picking up groceries from a small town walmart isn't an adventure, it's just a reminder of everything that is bad.

I would never use food delivery... I'm not going to trust anybody else selecting meat and vegetables for me.

  11. I get why people would use it.
Nothing wrong with it. I'd use it if I was super busy and/or had a family.
Better than wasting the weekend in a supermarÄ·et.
But I still wouldn't use it for vegetables (unless it's one of those trustworthy family business thingies) or meat (I already get that from a local butcher, and not from stores).

When the internet connection keeps going out and hubby says ''did you pay the bill?'' Really dude? It wouldn't be coming back ON, if I didn't. Duh.

That doesn't make me mad, it makes me

I think grocery shopping appeals to our inner hunter-forrager.

  14. When JW leave me a lil note saying they came by on Sunday and I wasn't there, so they left me pamphlets and bla bla bla.

I know you, I saw you standing there on Sunday, I ignored you.

I hate those gross Hardee's commercials; a close-up of some slovenly dude that hasn't shaven in a week shoving a burger in his mouth, biting off too much and eating with his mouth half open. If that wasn't bad enough you can hear it too. Those men's rights people should protest this; most of us have some manners.

I don't have cable, so I never see these commercials.

    That makes me glad :)

Flat Earth, Anti-vax, in general anyone who has to think they are so special and educated over established facts. They demand evidence they can not provide. Like medical school of course it's a sham. I know more since I saw a youtube video. So I will take my limited medical understanding and assume I know more. Or I don't accept any pictures from space or any of the dozens of experiments that show the Earth is round.

It's truly scary that society has reached this point. Although both these issues seem to limited to America for the most part. Kind of makes sense when we don't have the same educational goals as other nations.

A flat earth is plausible because we only ever see earth as a flat plane. The only people who tell us it isn't are the government funded scientists which the general population has been indoctrinated to believe, but you yourself only see earth as a flat plane so I can completely see where they are coming from and honestly, good for them for not believing in the corruption of such government funded agencies.

I myself have been to the tips of North and have seen the apex curve with my own eyes unless the water played a mirage on my vision, I can't be certain. Unless you're an astronaut, there's no way to clarify and even though they send back images of a round earth, we still only perceive that image as a flat plane, so guess what? You have only seen earth as flat in your lifetime, that is your actual reality and the only reality you've ever lived in was a flat plane as far as you could see.

All intercontinental flights travel along the curvature of the spherical earth. If the earth were flat like a coin, these flights would be straight lines.

I never took these flat-earth society people seriously. Part of me insists that they are internet trolls who are giving people something to gripe about.
