One time on a random road trip I stopped at a roadside dinner in the wee hours of the morning and asked my waitress what the meaning of life was ... she leaned into the table and had a reassuring smile on her face. She simply said, "to live, love and learn." At that moment she looked so sure of herself and at peace.
I think right now, that would be the ideal job for me...waiting at a truckstop diner...I absolutely love the people that work at them. We stopped at one a way outside of Elk City, Oklahoma, and the old lady that served us was so sweet. I just love the atmosphere at those places. Not to mention, the food is rarely bad. Gotta keep the truckers happy cuz they have a network, you know.
This place is adictive, I tried to leave 10 times or more, It has'nt went well. I think skip has cast a spell on this site.
