    They might buy higher quality shoes than you.

    Try good shoes, shoe goo (glue stuff for fixing shoes), duct tape, or simply going barefoot.

    you mean proper shoes or trainers? if the former, buy blakeys and nail 'em in.

    I can't dance and can't whistle. I learned to whistle for 2 days once. It then escaped me and have never been able to again.
