Something I don't understand (aside from Gaga and Bieber, of course) is how we can donate millions of dollars to the American Cancer Society, yet doctors couldn't even come up with a diagnosis for my father...

there's a lot of things i don't understand. the one thing i really want to know though is what the universe is expanding into, what's beyond it all. wish i knew the answer

a lot of charities take more for overhead than they do for actual reserach, sadly.

you got that right. I can't even imagine living in that type of world, where you're scrutinized by everyone everyday.

I do not understand poverty, neglect, abuse and many other things that make no sense in todays society other than too many people do not care enough.

In regards to GaGa, I find her so "ah, see it all before"

From Alice Cooper to Manson, Madonna to Britney. The shock tactics whether it be through scary or sexy, its all been done before.

Some of Gagas songs are pretty catchy, and she's excellent with the visuals. But her personality is a bit dull


As for Gay Icons, George Michael has gone off the rails in recent years, but his last big hit, back in the 90s, forget the song, but in the video he's running around in a red leather jumpsuit looking uber cool and pretty darn sexy. I find it curious how many Gay Icons arent hot gay guys, instead we get butter face Gaga, skanky looking ones like Cher, or little pocket rockets like Kylie - and all their videos seem to go the same way, some bitch in the middle getting all the attention with a whole bunch of hot guys in sailor outfits dancing around her

 

I dont understand most over 30 either, its like they've all given up and are preparing to die, even though they've still got 2/3's of their life left

Lady Gaga...yeah, I don't get it either. I have a hard time getting what the hell is so artistic about her. Shock value isn't art.

I do not get the interest in Lady Gaga at all.... I just barely became aware of her and I am not impressed.

 

I don't understand why people deep fry food. I mean, I'll pan fry or stir fry once in a while in some really light e.v.o.o, but I never submerge my food in grease.
