i have always been afraid that my belly button is going to unravel and my insides are going to fall out.
i wouldnt sit on the toilet while it flushed cuz i thought a swampthing lookin monster lived in the sewer and could come up when u flushed...
I was afraid of the wig stands in my Great-Aunt's bedroom. You had to walk past to get to the bathroom, and I was always afraid those heads were going to open their eyes. She also had fake legs that she hardly ever wore....so they were standing in the corner with nobody in them...creepy as hell for a little kid. They had on support hose and granny shoes...the whole works.
"the ghost room" in my parents house......strange things were always happening in there, and I had to run up the stairs to my room as fast as I could....there werre a collection of dolls in there, lights that were always getting unplugged, and old furniture from dead relatives that sometimes had shadowy figures on them.
quote: have always been afraid that my belly button is going to unravel and my insides are going to fall out. HOW STRANGE...me too, i would never and still won't let people touch it for fear of unravelling, I thought I was alone!
i won't let anyone touch it either. How is your relationship with your mother? I alway thought it might have something to do with mother-child relationships, but no one else has ever had the same belly button issues.
i was afraid there was a witch living in my closet and that freddy kruegar was under my bed and that someone was gonna break into my house and stab me and that the house was gonna burn down.
oh yeah, my neighbor freaked me out. i had a recurring dream that he dressed up as a clown, hatchetted my whole family while we were sleeping, then set our house on fire and played the violin while wtching it burn. i didn't like him much. or clowns.
quote: How is your relationship with your mother? we get along ok, she had a vicious menopause era but that was years ago.....teen years got along better with her than my dad. we don't make out or anything, but we get along
i was scared of a lot of things i thought aliens were going to come and take me away, there was the usual 'theres something under my bed' so i would line up my stuffed animals around the bed to protect me. i also had a major fear of that cartoon, beatlejuice. had a lot of nightmares of him for some reason....
I was afraid of Freddy Krugar...when I would go to sleep, I would start thinking about the my little pony intro song and he would slash right through the image =(
...when i was stil young i was hardly afraid of anything(sometimes i wanna be recruited by my childish unfearness) but one significant thing that gave me harmfull heart-attacs was the tape of a german fery-tail named "peter und der wolf".kinda traumatized me...
It that evil clown scared me...my friend told me that if you didn't believe in ghosts, they would come in the night and kill you, that freaked me out. oh and read this story where a truck carrying a tanker of boiling oil crashed into this girls house and burned her alive while she slept. I was so scared for ages afterwards that that would happen to me...never mind the facts that a) the chances of a truck carrying a boiling tanker of oil anywhere near our suburban, dead end street are slim to none b) even if the truck came along, even if it crashed right outside our house, the oil would have to rebound off the street, travel up our 90 or so steps and flow through three levels of our house before it got to my room. still....i was terrified
My mom used to tell me there were "hideabehinds", monsters that hid behind the furniture and under the bed. I was afraid to hang my feet off the bed for a long long time.
