yeah, but we have intelligence on our side . You'd all go down. Civil war, the religious wrong vs. the secular...I'd fight.

 

Texas would just secede and go back to being the Republic of Texas. We can legally do that you know, we signed a special agreement when we joined the Union. We're the only state that fought a war for our independance and don't think we're gonna forget that, we remember the Alamo. We would ally with Mexico and we'd probably invade Oklahoma just for the hell of it. Stupid Oakies.

 

I dunno, maybe the democrats should all just move to texas then.

 

Damn straight! We could use more democrats, and there's plenty of room. Just remember to vote once you're here, and don't be suprised if we make you take a Texas history course. Every Texan must remember the Alamo, it's a law or something.

Texas was an independant nation before it joined the union. We fought a long and bloody war to win that independance, so when we decided to join the union we signed a special agreement that basically says that Texas has the right to Secede at any time without approval from any branch of the US government.

And yes, we keep NASA.

There's no way the US government is going to let Texas secede until we've drained it of all its oil. After that you can do whatever you want, we won't need you anymore.
