I dont understand why some people blame the victim when rape happens. that's fucking retarded, it's never the victims fault, no matter what she happened to be wearing.
it's interesting to see a beautiful body bring out the vicious, the angry, the violent and the misogynistic. no, she is not asking to be raped. i wonder if anyone would think a guy similarly dressed was asking to be raped.
what the hell has that got to do with anything? just because a woman looks good doesn't mean she has to hide herself from sight. geezuz, what are you guys gonna do next? break out the burkhas?
Yeah, but I think the OP (and the people who were pretending to go along with him) were just being sarcastic and looking to get a rise out of people. I know I was. If you can't see this, then you're not very bright. Of course nobody is asking to get raped. However, some women's style of dress may put them more at risk. If you're a woman and wear stripper clothes, and you go out into the city at night, you're putting yourself more at risk, versus someone who's dressed more modestly. And as far as berkas go, it's easy for people in western culture (with the help of the brainwashing mainstream media) to look at those women as being oppressed. But do the woman who have grown up in that culture see themselves as being oppressed? They might think the exact same thing about western women.
