The only way I've ever known to avoid this whole situation is to leave no doubt to your intentions and be uncomprimising when it comes to the "let's just be friends" thing. In every example of every woman I've ever dated and/or slept with there was one common denominator: I didn't care, upon first meeting her, if I ever spoke to her or saw her again. I don't mean disinterested, but I also had NO EXPECTATIONS. It also helps to have a realistic idea of who is in your league and who isn't - that is - if rejection affects you. There was a time in my life when I'd get all excited and bent out of shape when I'd meet a girl I was attracted to - guaranteed failure. You'll do stupid, goofy, desparate shit everytime. You want to meet the prettiest girl in the room (you'll regret it later if you do, I promise you) pretend she doesn't exist - or better yet, treat her like she's got the plague. If you have any chance with her in the first place - it's got to be this way - otherwise you're just another drooling idiot, in a long line of drooling idiots throughout this woman's entire life who wanted to sleep with her. It's sick, I know and I hate it, I fucking hate it - it's sociopathic- but it's reality.

 

Well this girl wasn't what I would call way hot. Pretty, and beautiful maybe, but it took me a while to really see her in that way. But she's like, kind of become sexy, because I know all the things she gets up to and shit. I don't know, these words all mean different things to me.

I sometimes suspect that from some girls, so I don't initiate contact for a while, and see how much they contact me. Even then there are some girls who I can tell just crave male attention. It's weeded out a couple of girls.


I got high today and realised that I have a very lucky friendship with this girl, and if that means I can't be with her, then that's probably how it's meant to go down. There are plenty of other girls who are very compatible with me. And a little patience and single time should be something I should embrace, because I have not had much of it.

It's funny that the chicks in this thread that get with other chicks seem to understand exactly where guys are comin from. The straight ones seem to think we are jerks for coming to a conclusion based on our experience and from watching what happens with other nice guys getting shit on while the dick heads get laid.

I don't know about any master plan and yeah guys flock to girls... but we know which type gets picked out of the flock the most. I don't think we have anything to feel bad about. If most women suddenly wanted to fuck "nice guys" instead of assholes...men everywhere would be trying to be nice and cut the asshole act.
