I believe I understand this, as this when you are most likely to be busted. Or perhaps she sees you buying from some gangsta who will cut your throat for your $20 so he can go buy a crack rock...Anyhow, her perception might well be that her baby boy is in more danger then, than when he's in his room smoking.

 

when i was a kid my dad and his buddy were wantin to smoke. his freind tells him to go look undrer my matressand see if i had a stash. and i did.hahaha i was 13 then, and he figured he better give me permission. easier for him i guess.hahahaha

 

So we finished the convo today. Turned out great. She bascally said that she realized I wasn't going to stop, and she wants me to be safe. We compromised, i'm restricted to weekends and breaks, and I still have to keep it just as low key as I am right now. I can't do it every day. She hasn't given our stuff back yet, said shed think about it, but that means she will later today.

I'm goin to listen to her because she respects my choice, I'm going to respect her rules.
I don't like smokig every day Anyways,, even though I have been for almost 5 months, it's just better when you don't. That doesn't mean we won't finish off this weekend with the rest of the weed, though.

Yea- well perhaps Nero was dealt a good mom- and she a decent kid. Life is the ultimate uneven playing field though I think people ultimately are defined by how graciously they confront and deal with the unfairness that gets thrust upon them.

it's not so much this aspect of society that bothers me. its the lack of balance/ or middle-of-the-road beliefs and approaches (and yes, common sense). there are of course, those who won't take responsibility, but on the other hand there also seems to be a rise in the sentiment that those who aren't ABLE to take responsibility for themselves/ their actions are inherently bad.

it's kind of ironic that i mention this, as i'm quite a bit of a black or white personality myself....

She's even more lenient than what I took from the coversation.

Gave us our stuff yesterday, then said she only didn't want me to smoke every single day, and this means I will be able to get cash easier doing jobs for my parents, lol.

I'm going to smoke every other day + weekends... Pretty sweet. But I have no idea If my dad or sister know. My sister, even though she is 18, is still really worried about me, she suspects something too. My dad pretty much knows, but we could be more open about it.

 

Well thats good that your mom is being lenient now.

I love being able to sit and smoke a bowl without having to worry anymore.
