who are these hateful and discriminatory speakers who millenials stopped from speaking at colleges and universities across the USA?

I do not believe millenials even know Who these so called hateful speakers are. Someone says they are something and it is believed, without millenials even being given the chance to decide for yourself and millenials believe it. Are millenials so weak minded that listening to a debate with a view other than their own will brainwash them and others? Can they not hold their own?

I don't know. You tell me

That is the case with almost all people today. High speed internet and social media being the main cause.

If they stopped someone from speaking it would seem that they can hold their own.

Ironically enough the thread starter is in fact one of the finest examples of this.

People are not getting annoyed by you because you won't 'do their homework'. They're getting annoyed because it is quite clear you pose stuff as fact when it is opinion at best, but unfortunately mostly just plain wrong. That's why they ask you to explain your sources or stance and might sound mad when you bullshit your way out of it.
Best example regarding you and facts is when you shared the false fact in that triple rape thread (despicable tactic btw) about 40% of London being muslim. We all know why you didn't share your source there :) I encourage you to still do so! :p

I am assuming you are a millenial? Even if you are not it does not matter! If You have taken a stance against speakers, taken the word of people rather than making up your own mind and siding with groups that use violence to get their non existent claims across. This is obvious from your previous statement and the fact that you have to ask me to tell you. You are defending actions of people against others assuming their claims are true.

I will give you a few common examples from the left against the right, in hopes that you research who you defend and who you are calling racist or fascist (IF YOU DO) as you defend fascist tactics and don't think for yourself and refuse to think for yourself!

Heather MacDonald - not racist, call such by the left simply because she is a middle of the road republican and had to be protected from left violence who simply didn't want her to speak and present a debate.

Charles Murray - professor involved in a debate was pushed and shoved by left wing protestors who simply didn't agree with him and needed protection.

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/03/04/opinions/charles-murray-protest-went-too-far-parini/index.html

    Ben Shapiro

    Milo

Janet Mock is a transgender rights activist and tv host who was stopped from speaking because he event and she was sponsored by a pro Israel group and the left, BLM supporters are pro Palestinians.

    And the list goes on.

Violence broke out by left wing, severely injuring people simply because they came to listen to someone speak,

Maybe in your circle of millenials and or left/ alt lefties?

No they do not hold their own at all. Do you agree with punch a nazi, simply because someone tells you that one is a nazi, that one is a white supremacist? They are incapable of articulating their views and are resorting to violence with false claims if they do not agree with another point of view.

    *puts on protective equipment*

I, however, disagree with you. I think pushing for equality is what separates us from primitive man. And when achieved, that equality will be our greatest success--more so than anything the Egyptians built.

    But I'm an idealist.

That doesn't make sense in that context. You're dissing millennials with opposite mindsets than yours. Where's the self you mention? It sounds good though ;)

  13. The problem with so-called "millennials" is much deeper. For one thing the label groups kids who grew up in the 80's with kids who grew up in the 90's and 2000's. Psychologically I don't think many of us who were born in the 80's can accept that. There was such a drastic change between the 70's, 80's, and 90's. The 80's started off with Empire Strikes Back, for God's sake. Weird alpha shit like He-Man, Thunder Cats, Transformers, etc. The 90's had some strange pop culture, like Power Puff Girls and Ren and Stimpy, but it just doesn't compare. This isn't to say the 80's are better than the 90's, 2000's, whatever. We are just so different, and to lump us all together into one culture that privileged assholes get to label "privileged brats" is, frankly, an insult and an outrage.

To say that Millennials feel entitled, well...yeah... Do you know what you gave us in the 80's? Do you not realize?! I realize that the older generation knew we were a little different. 80's kids still aren't even in the spotlight, as far as popular culture goes. It almost seems like we've been skipped to some degree, and that just isn't acceptable. It never will be. The sheer writing, artistry, and athletic talent of the kids of the 80's has no compare. Instead of accepting the vision of generations past as the gold standard, our vision and our voice needs to start being heard. I fucking demand it.

I think this phenomenon has a little more than a little to do with when the internet came along.

Edit: How old were you? I was about 16 when we got the internet at my house.

You'll never see me talk about equality. To me it's just a made up word to make everybody feel better. We are never born equal. If we were born equal then we'd be equal, but we aren't equal and so that logic is just a farce, a made up reasoning for people to treat others the same as yourself but that in its own merit is not human behaviour. That's not what we do, our brains process difference very quickly we can all tell when something isn't right so to try and accept it as equal on any terms is just detrimental to our way of life. It's unnatural to me. If. You brain processes difference then that's what information is being processed. I'm not going to be like, oh this is different, better manipulate my mind into believing it's as equal as something else. It just doesn't work that way.

This is why people's beliefs don't bother me whether religious, political racial and so on. I already know people are different so to expect an equal response from everybody is about as much nonsense as believing we're equal to begin with. So I can't hate on anybody for personal beliefs. They're entitles to them no matter how horrifying they may be and in turn, I don't like to get put down over my whack ideals either.

My ideals are all true true to me, they make sense to me but not a lot to others and you know why? Because I wasn't born equal to others. I know, fuck me right? It if we're really equal, then you already feel the same way right? ;)

    No if course not. Lol.

Yeah, we get to see you write about it instead, :-D

Like you I don't buy equality either, but unlike you I'm quite happy to lay into peoples wack ideals. LOL

Equality is about worth and treatment under the law. It's not about everyone and everything being the same. People can be different; they shouldn't have to be treated different because of it.

Ok let me be clear here, since you are unable to follow a topic.

    1. You referenced another thread in here. Which I believe is against the rules. A thread to which drumminmama started and locked up, stating the thread was off topic. At that point I left the thread because it was locked and because a moderator said it was off topic and wanted it to stop! out of respect for the forum and moderators I stopped!

    2. I do speak in facts from data and opinions that are mine. who else would I speak for?

You on the other hand speak for others as if This validates your statement. Does meli need you to defend her? "People are not annoyed because you won't do their homework, they are annoyed because you state things as fact when they are your opinion".

Are you annoyed or are speaking for others who can not speak for themselves?

Whose opinions would I give other than my own? Only me while you speak for other? LOL

just so you know, you are off topic and have not contributed anything to this thread beyond white knighting where it is not needed and looking to ruffle feathers but failing, I speak for me when I say that, just like evertything else I type, because that is what I think and feel from personal experiences and information I have gathered.

You speak for others in "they" terms and "people", implying you are speaking on behalf of others, a group. Are you the elected spokes person?

I am done responding to you unless you have something worthy of the topic at hand

The 'shouldn't have to be treated differently' bit is fluff, when the being different bit automatically means one is treated differently. "Living under law" should, realistically, and idealistically, entitle one to nothing more than free speech. Actions, and their face value, always factor themselves into the equation accordingly. lol
