So it would make you happy if I told you I was not good at anything? I hope you find something you are great at, enjoy doing, or have found something you are great at and recognized yourself for as well as express your own pride in your own achievements.

 

Why would that make me happy? And I have already found something I enjoy doing.

It's just that I can do without the pride and recognition part.

 

Well I am happy about my own accomplishments, my own goals I set for myself. If I was not good at it and it just made me feel like a failure I wouldn't be doing it. It would not be a pleasure. I don't NEED or want outside recognition which is why I said nothing wrong with having pride or being proud in your own accomplishments. No need to down play it if someone asks. I wouldn't and don't have a room full of awards on display nor would I do that or boast about such a thing. But I am proud of myself. Nice when someone recognizes it but I isn't required nor do i need it. If you don't enjoy it, if it doesn't make you happy you won't excel or try.

It's always the more "common" of us ( intellectually speaking ) that take an overly overt pride, a perverted one, in excelling at an activity, sometimes as a kind of compensatory measure for what they lack in and of themselves, but most often simply just to more fully lose what there is of themselves to a distracting endeavour, an assertion and self-reassurance that the task is worthy of them, and vice versa. Entirely forgivable! lol

It doesn't really matter how "interesting" someone is though, it's strange, the predisposition to being a thinker naturally has its degrees, the highest of them requiring the rarest courage - but the only real rewards come of kindness. Now for you, you took offence to me saying little man and felt the need to promote your height as if that makes a difference and means something. Little man or big man, whichever I said makes no difference in the person you are. I was not referring to your height but rather your certainty on everything, narrow minded view, which is typical. The older you get the more you realize nothing is certain and everything is possible. To say anything for certain and anyone who disagrees with you is less than you or even to believe that. in the post above says more about me than you and your lack of kindness, or willingness to consider.

I have an opinion that may or may not be true, but it is mine. I base it on my knowledge, my experience, my feelings.

I accept that you believe you came from chimps. I accept that you believe that we all came out of Africa. I accept that you believe your ancestors were originally black even though DNA can't tell you skin colour. I accept that you believe blue eyes only came to be 10 000 years ago even though there is no evidence of this other than some scientist saying he found the first blue eyed human. Eye colour can not be determined by DNA either. blue eyes is not recessive at all and brown eyes are not dominant. I accept that that you believe they are even though there is really no scientific evidence of this, and quite the contrary actually. everyone is born with blue eyes first and then a change happens for some and not because of some dominant and recessive gene. I accept that some people only want to marry their own race. I accept that some people are only attracted to their own race. You on the other hand you seem to be unaccepting of others that question, and that I question this, rather than just accepting what I am told by someone, without question. if you are incapable of listening to another's view without being condescending, or denying someone's right to speak, actually thinking in possibilities, then I feel sorry for you, but it is not my problem either.

So kindness, have loads of it but not going to mince words of soften the statement in order to pander to some SJW or group that wants to say we are in the right and everyone else is wrong for not standing with, they are hateful and we are justified. as We beat people, burn things, rob people who work hard, simply because they have something wanted or a different view.

I'm actually very obliging in that regard, with deference towards those to whom it pains to think critically, and cheer to the young. Why shouldn't children entertain the idea of elves and fairies for instance? One might as well say they shouldn't be allowed to look in the mirror! But I find it exceptionally difficult to tiptoe around grown adults online, where their words sit, and quite often stink! How can I be trolled when I know what he is doing? Lol. Not that I am a troll, but I do know exactly what he is doing. dejavu, do a search on eye colour and there are many factors in determining it. It isn't a dom and recessive thing. Evidence today proves otherwise. The Dom and recessive thing is no more. My views on evolution regarding humans isn't really something I care about, nor is it something I waste my time in filling in the gaps. Read enough about it to know they don't know and there are many disagreement. It really is not important! You do fill in gaps a lot, and in doing so you have assumed too much.

As for me sounding political, you are the one who made it that by simply claiming i sound political. is there any topic today a person can mention that isn't political? Talk about the weather, omg global warming, talk about your home, omg you have one and I don't. Everything today triggers someone and it is all political, washrooms, gender, the earth, the weather, ethnicity, religion, plants, farming, spaces, origins, and the list goes on. Feelings do not necessarily imply a physical reaction. Feelings can involve a thought process that draws a conclusion and to express those becomes feelings on a topic if you believe it and or are passionate about it.

As for me saying I accept ethnicities wanting to marry their own ethnicity, etc.. I accept the opposit as well, which really doesn't matter either way to me. But to you one way seems to matter while the flip side doesn't.
