Elaborate on "collapse" if you would. Depending on your idea of financial collapse I'd be willing to wager a decent sum against some of your stock piled food.

Of course they are aware. They are also aware that many of them will likely be on their way out of office as these problems start to peak. Hence the irresponsibility remark. They're just leaving the mess for somebody else.

 

collapse as in unemployment well over 30%,collapse as in inflation rates 30% or higher,collapse as in the government declaring bankruptcy,collapse as in the dollar being bought back eventually by the government for pennies,,well it wont be pennies,for a fraction of its once value and replaced with another form of fiat currency.

and no i have no need for more worthless government issue promissory notes,ill keep my food,,its going to be much MUCH more of value soon enough..

I have no qualm with the coming financial "crisis". I fully expect to not only maintain during this "crisis", but also to make more money than I've ever made before.

Even if it's only going to be worth cents on the dollar. I'll be collecting more cents than most, IMO.

Everybody can say what they want about me being a dreamer and this or that, but the fact of it is this isn't the first, or even the second, time that the US has been in this position and every time it happens fortunes are won and lost. I dont' have a fortune to lose, so I guess I'll have to stick with making that future while others scramble to make ends meet.

Tis the way of the world. Survival of the fittest will soon turn into survival of the prepared. HHB is preparing one way, I'm preparing in a completely different manner.
