hmm i feel like playing some more music! wheres Sanja? lol i mean Ray...feel like playing something? *Jim walks onstage followed by the rest of The Doors* Wishful crystal Water covers everything in blue Coolin' water Wishful sinful Our love is beautiful to see I know where I would like to be Right back where I came Wishful, sinful, wicked blue Water covers you Wishful, sinful, wicked you Can't escape the blue Magic risin' Sun is shinin' deep beneath the sea But not enough for you and me and sunshine Love to hear the wind cry Wishful sinful Our love is beautiful to see I know where I would like to be Right back where I came Wishful, sinful, wicked blue Water covers you Wishful, sinful, wicked you Can't escape the blue Love to hear the wind cry Love to hear you cry, yeah, yeah Yeh how i love that song so does the crowd go wild or what? lol or has everyone gone? love you all peace and love Jane
as the last song end, the lights dim down, and lazers light up the sky.... The doors are playing very softly as a small light lights up Jim's face only.... then the he speaks softly into the mic "The gate is straight, deep and wide, break on through to the other side, break on through to the other side, break on through to the other side" then the music stops for about 10 seconds.......................................... Lazers start to go wild to the rhythm of the keyboards, and then the band starts to join in...... You know the day destroys the night Night divides the day Tried to run Tried to hide Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side, yeah We chased our pleasures here Dug our treasures there But can you still recall The time we cried Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side Yeah! C'mon, yeah Everybody loves my baby Everybody loves my baby She get She get She gets high She gets high I found an island in your arms Country in your eyes Arms that chain us Eyes that lie Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side Break on through, oww! Oh, yeah! Made the scene Week to week Day to day Hour to hour The gate is straight Deep and wide Break on through to the other side Break on through to the other side Break on through Break on through Break on through Break on through Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh here I am, I was hanging with some hip folks I just met, let's play!... I suggest Love her madly, is it ok?.... Jane, you should think of something for our performance, I'm too lazy to think right now.....
It's getting on for night now, my tent is set up. There's room for all! I also have a campfire set up otside. Free hugs and love beads to one and all Peace and love brothers and sisters xxx
Ah! What a great thread! I was thinking of starting a "favorite lyrics" thread, but this is just as good. My alter ego would be Joni Mitchell, or Maggie Roche. Since Joni had been done, I'll be Maggie. Meet The Roches (it's their last name, m'kay?) Maggie, Terre and Suzzy. Maggie is center top, and that's me for the moment. The three sisters enter stage at a small venue in Hollywood, CA, preceeding Boz Skaggs (yes, this really happened, and it was an atrosity, going on stage before Boz in those days, that was - BAD billing - I dont even remember what song he was famous for!!!). No one knows who they are, but they bravely step up... The first song performed, is one written by Maggie, aka, me. The Married Men One in Louisiana one who travels around one of 'em mainly stays in heart-throb town I am not their main concern they are lonely too I am just an arrow passing through When they look into my eyes I know what to do I make sure the words I say are true When they send me off at dawn pay the driver my fare they know I am goin' down somewhere O the married men the married men never would have had a good time again if it wasn't for the married men One says he'll come after me another one'll drop me a line one says all o' my agony is in my mind They know what is wrong with me none of 'em wants my hand soloin' in my traveling wedding band O the married men the married men makes me feel like a girl again to run with the married men One of 'ems got a little boy other one he's got two one of 'ems wife is one week overdue I know these girls they don't like me but I am just like them pickin' a crazy apple off a stem Givin' it to the married men the married men all o' that time in hell to spend for kissin' the married men ************** Sad but true, only a few appreciate the whimsy and harmonies of the group. Boz Skaggs follows... *hurls*
The Roches? I don't know them. It would be awesome, though unbefitting of a hippie festival, to see Lunar Aurora live. They're my favourite band of the last few months, but disbanded just as I realised their full potential.
hahah of course its ok the doors walk onstage for like the tenth time this concert (but they will continue with their random performances all throughout this thread... YES =]) Don't ya love her madly Don't ya need her badly Don't ya love her ways Tell me what you say Don't ya love her madly Wanna be her daddy Don't ya love her face Don't ya love her as she's walkin' out the door Like she did one thousand times before Don't ya love her ways Tell me what you say Don't ya love her as she's walkin' out the door All your love All your love All your love All your love All your love is gone So sing a lonely song Of a deep blue dream Seven horses seem to be on the mark Yeah, don't you love her Don't you love her as she's walkin' out the door All your love All your love All your love Yeah, all your love is gone So sing a lonely song Of a deep blue dream Seven horses seem to be on the mark Well, don't ya love her madly Don't ya love her madly Don't ya love her madly *runs to Kate's (forget me not's) tent* lol i feel like some more marshmallows
:O i just realised that the mamas and the papas havent performed yet! oh no! lol are they even here? is anyone gonna be the mamas and the papas? lol i'll love you forever theyre one of my FAVOURITE bands peace and love Jane
^I can't be mamas and the papas, I couldn't sing "all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray" when it's over 30*C over here, it would seem dishonest to the audience....
