Picture of a gun on a bible is a pretty good metaphor. I think and hope that this is a big chain jerkin'. I DO agree with the mention of too many chemicals introduced into the earth and the air and the food. My gramma and her generation gardened successfully without any chemicals and canned and dried food too. All about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$.

If this kid IS jerkin' our chains---he has been suck--sessfull.

Well, you didn't answer the question, what are YOU going to do about it? How are YOU going to be able to even recognise the ones that are secretly bisexual?

    But to answer yours...

Let's start off with HIV, you threw in a figure of 10% of the population are gayish. The prevalence of HIV amongst gay men a lot higher than the general population, but 20% of 10% is 2%, 5% of the remaining 90% is still more than double 2%. The original means of transfer for the majority has nothing to do with gay people.

Food pollutants, hormones in chickens are turning guys into girls...or is it that we all lead sedentary lifestyles nowadays, no guy gets trained to fight to the death like we used to 2000 years ago...you'd could blame Apple Inc just as much as KFC

You're going to have to take that drivel to the Conspiracy section of the forum.

They do that to strangers because they are being pompous and overbearing.

It's different if you talk to someone that you know personally.

All this unsolicited "for your own good" bullshit is just hyper inflated ego.

Those type folks would do well to mind their own business.

Very fair, I suspected that we were talking at cross purposes rather than necessarily disagreeing on the issue. Glad to have been able to clear things up.

I'm withdrawing from this thread because no meaningful discussion can be achieved with so transparent a troll as ol' maccabee, only a sharp rise in blood pressure.

    All the best :)

Bad argumenting. I say something about not believing everything on the internet and you say the same thing back to me? Dude seriously.
And why on the internet or on CNN? It's either one or the other?

I don't condemn you. I criticise you. I criticise you for blindly believing an article on an obviously biased website.
And you're not disproving anything. Your use of google is not a scientific investigation. Just as the so-called scientists you cite fail to prove a causality from a simple statistic.

I haven't give you any links. And this is not about believing. Or are you making some religious argument now? Because then you get onto even more slippery and thin ice.
Immagine yourself trying to "prove" that certain holy books are right. Can you find that proof on the internet? Or maybe on CNN?

You seem like a rather polite guy, so I'm going to add this: I told you to grow up and learn something about statistics for a reason. Because they can be manipulated and interpreted just like religious texts and, of course, people. You have probably grown up in a place where everybody told you the same thing and where critical thinking was not encouraged.
Start thinking with your own head now and stop regurgitating some white-race christian propaganda. And do not think I'm insulting you. It's just a piece of advice.

    'nuff already.

It may come down to the saying-' things you don't know that you don't know.'

Mr. Writer disapproves of Islam, but not Muslims. Critical thinking.

This might be off topic but let's not cherry pick the Qu'ran.

The Qu'ran is broken up into two parts: the Meccan Qu'ran and the Medinan Qu'ran.

In the Meccan part, Mohammed is in Mecca, where preaches peace like the surah and ayat above.

In the Medinan part, Mohammed is in Medina becomes a militant warlord who orders jihad.

In the ummah, if one verse contradicts another the *Medinan* verse is accepted because it comes later.

So strangely enough, when you consider the OT and the NT, Islam is the polar opposite of Christianity.

I think Maccabee made his case perfectly. And it was demonstrated here beyond any doubt.
I used to be a detached critic of the so called "sexual freedom" militants.

Now I think society needs more hardliners against such militancy before the situation gets far worse.

When conservative hardliners agree with each other and make everyone else hate them, they often label that a success story. :dizzy2:

:yikes: WTF are you (and Maccabee) doing on a Hippie Forum board?

You know there are a bunch of us old "SEXUAL FREEDOM" militants here from the SEXUAL REVOLUTION who explored FREE-LUV and our only restriction was IF IT FEELS GOOD - DO IT.
    You [IMG]
    are a BLUE MEANIE!

Maybe drawn by his repressed and denied homosexual curiosity? You know what they say about the ones who deny it the loudest.

Funny thing is, all the extreme anti-gay rhetoric tends to have the opposite effect of what they claim to have in mind. It pushes us to value our sexual freedom more than ever, and celebrate it by exploring every perverted thing we can think of, with more enthusiasm than ever.
