Through God all things are permitted

    I agree with that appraisal Bonkai, but actually I do not believe religious people who tell me that they only behave morally because of their faith. They may think it is the case but I bet most of them would go on living exactly the same if you proved beyond all doubt that their particular god was not real.

    I know a woman who did charity work in Guatemala. She claims to have done it because God wanted her to do it. But I am willing to bet she would be just as charitable without God.
