time, art, and the universe

    Time doesn't really exist, it's just a measurement. I realised this last last Saturday on my first acid trip.

    For example, think of shuffling a pack of cards. The thought inside your head takes literally no time at all but you can see the entire action. Now do it properly, or mimic it if you don't have any cards. It takes so much longer to do in "real time", so there must be varying scales.

    In my experience, 28 hours (tab top ups, not the most sensible idea I had for my first time, but it felt so good and I certainly do not regret it) felt like 9 years.


    Alternatively - it could exist and and I've just gone slightly loopy, I like to keep an open mind :)
