Tipping is a way to pass the responsibility of wages onto the consumer. I'm still trying to figure out how restaurants are legal.
I get really pissed off when I'm eating with a bunch of people. The food great, the service impeccable. The bill comes...I split it 8 ways or whatever(in my head) and tell everybody to throw in 25$each (or whatever) to cover the bill. There is invariably one stingy **** who pulls out their phone and works out the they actually owe $21.25 cos they don't believe in tipping. If you are that ****, FUCK YOU. If service is good and food is good, then tip. If it's shit, don't. End of story.
